1 This is an assinine statement. Can you validate with specific quotes that justify such accusations? If so, please do; otherwise I would expect an apology!!
2 Beg to differ! If nothing else, it exposed the left for the hypocrites they are, AND, IMHO, Trump had enough compassion for the "unpaid" to realize they were just pawns, & knowing the WWW was after a political victory rather than solutions, he allowed her a win in this skirmish!
Now I'm realistic enough to know that the fat lady hasn't sung yet, and I'm optimistic enough to give the only TRUE "peoples president" the benefit of the doubt until it is proven (certainly none of the MSM innuendo or outright lies) one way OR the other.

Oh, they have shut down the government many times the last few decades. Usually, they compromise rather quickly. This time there was no real bargaining in my opinion. The federal employees only suffer a late paycheck, as always. The taxpayer is the main loser, as always. Obama put police at the federal monuments so that no one could use them--places like the Lincoln Memorial where the so-called Black Hebrews cult and Nathan Phillips attacked schoolboy tourists. Trump left the monuments open as a courtesy in contrast to Obama who would not even let veterans in veteran memorials.
OK those things might be true but still IMO the shutdown of the government should NOT be weaponized!
If the only thing gained was “owning the Libz” then I’m not sure that counts as anything truly gained. I’m not even sure it’s true in this regard.

Turns out that Pelosi lost in the minds of the American people because her approval rating dropped six points.
Pelosi has an image problem due to her wealth and her huge walled mansion in California. Taxpayers have paid millions flying her all over the world and she has made millions since she got in Congress. Her health is poor and she very often makes mistakes in speech. She wears very expensive clothes and seems overdressed for a member of Congress.
Pelosi also is the Margaret Sanger Award from Planned Parenthood recipient, which makes her seem very ghoulish considering that Margaret Sanger wanted to get rid of non-whites above all else.
No wonder that her popularity is fading nationally. She seems unable to lead.

American voters trust House Speaker Nancy Pelosi more than President Donald Trump, 49 - 42 percent "on issues that are important to you," according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today. Independent voters trust Pelosi more than President Trump 49 - 36 percent.
Took a graduate course in statistics at Boston College (Jesuits) - this study is definitely SKEWED to the left.
