I shoulda called this thread something else, as Trump isn't impeached til Nancy completes the process.

Well, it's a civics lesson for sure. But the title seemed a straightforward assessment historically.

"Now that most of the House Dems have voted to impeach President Trump..."

"...will they follow through with their farce?"

The consequences of following through on the impeachment process are starting to be seen by some Dems - the inevitable voter backlash that'll occur, not so much over the actual impeachment, but over the time & money wasted on a huge debacle.

I'M not a prophet so this is a prediction.

Somehow the Democrats will find a technicality in the 2020 election which will force the final outlook into the SCOTUS.
they will still lose bigtime but will force it to the SCOTUS so they can always say TRUMP STOLE THE ELECTION LIKE BUSH STOLE IT FROM AL GORE.
