REVELATION 5 - INTERPRETATION
Note that Revelation Chapter 4 is a description of the opening of a great Ceremony, and describes the things that occurred within the celestial environment including the delivery of the sealed book to JESUS, and shows who was there in the great Ceremony in the heavenly environment of the third heaven, which is the heavenly environment of GOD’s Kingdom-Revelation 11:15-18 combined with 2Corinthians 12:1-4.
.
REVELATION 5 - THE GREAT AND WONDERFUL OPENING OF THE HEAVENLY CEREMONY TO DELIVERY THE SEALED BOOK TO JESUS
GOD the Father was still in the environment but about to go to His rest
THE SEALED BOOK - BOOK OF REVELATION
JESUS did not know until that moment what the Father had hidden in the sealed book since ancient times. John had been just caught up to the third heaven and he wrote:
Rev.5:1 - And I saw in the right hand of Him sat on the throne, a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Until this moment, GOD the Father had not still delivered the sealed book to JESUS, so its content still was in secret.
THE GREAT CEREMONY AND THE GREAT EXPECTATION OR SUSPENSE
We must see that there was a great expectation of the millions of angels, among archangels and Cherubs and elders, in fact the heavenly environment was filled with heavenly inhabitants and the most important thing was that the King - JESUS, the Word made flesh - was seated on the throne for this wonderful Cerimony. The focus of the great heavenly Ceremony was to know if JESUS Himself being the King would open the book, or if He would give it to another who could be worthy to open the book besides He Himself, of course.
THE GREAT QUESTION AND CHALLENGE
Rev.5:v.2 John AS A GUEST in the third heaven, he saw a strong angel (an Archangel) proclaiming with a loud voice in the midst of the great heavenly multitude, saying: "Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?" JESUS, crowned as King of kings and Lord of Lords was sat on the throne looking the celestial multitude and the sealed book.
No one from the heavenly crowd, yeah, no one there in the heavenly Cerimony presented himself as if he was able to open the book. No one of the multitude answer the above question of the strong angel, quite the opposite, there was utter silence.
THE WRONG CONCEPTION OF JOHN, THE GUEST
v.3 And no MAN in heaven nor in earth, neither under the earth, was ABLE to open the book, neither to look thereon. But according verse 13, these same beings or every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, they were saying, Blessing, and Honor, and Glory, and Power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, for ever and ever.
THE HEAVENLY CERIMONY WAS BEING CELEBRATED IN THE THIRD HEAVEN, THAT IS THE NEXT HEAVEN, WHICH WILL STILL BE ESTABLISHED IN THIS CURRENT MILLENNIUM - LUKE 20:35-36 COMBINED WITH 1CORINTHIANS 15:24-28&51-55, AND REVELATION 11:15-18 COMBINED WITH 2THESSALONIANS 4:15-17.
v.3 - NO MAN IN HEAVEN – SECOND HEAVEN.
THE FIRST HEAVEN REFERS TO THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE OLD TESTAMENT->THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS, UNTIL JOHN THE BAPTIST, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD,
THE SECOND HEAVEN WAS THE NEW TESTAMENT→ EPHESIANS 1:3-10 AND S
N.
Yes, in the first moment John felt that "No one" of the heavenly crowd (multitude of true believers(Ephesians 1:3-10, and so on) would present himself as if he was able to open the book. "No MAN in heaven"(EPHESIANS 1:3-10, AND S
N) except JESUS of course, who was there to receive the sealed book from the hands of the Father. The King of kings was present there who in fact would be able to open the book and break up its seven seals.
v.3 - NO MAN IN EARTH (EARTH HERE IS ISRAEL)
Under heaven no MAN in EARTH, except JESUS, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, who prevailed to open the book, and to set loose the seven seals thereof, JESUS was the only one able to open the sealed book. JESUS was not like the common man born of sin.
NO MAN UNDER THE EARTH
Under the earth were the apostles, and countless disciples, even the own mother of JESUS, which are waiting their resurrection in this Lord's Day, no one were ABLE to open the book, neither to look thereon.
By the way, speaking of resurrection, it is opportune to reveal here that it will happen now, even now, in this Lord's Day. The apostles, inclusive the own John the Apostle who was in the heavenly Cerimony, and also the mother of JESUS, and countless disciples, will resurrect now, even now, and the powers in heaven will be shaken as it be an earthquake.
THE WRONG CONCEPTION OF THE APOSTLE JOHN, THE GUEST OF THE HEAVENLY CEREMONY
verses 3 and 4
And John wept much, because no MAN was found worthy to OPEN and to READ the book, neither to look thereon.
John, AS A GUEST, in the first moment he did think that "no man was found worthy to open the book and breaks up its seven seals, neither TO LOOK thereon"(v.3), In the verse 4 he cried a lot or wept much because he did think that "no man was found worthy to OPEN and to READ the book, neither to look thereon". For John, not even Jesus would OPEN the book and reveal the secrets described within, so John wept bitterly. But one of the elders took care to dispel the Apostle's misperception, as we can see in verses 5 and 6, which explain it themselves, as follows:
ONE OF THE ELDERS UNDO THE WRONG CONCEPTION OF JOHN - JESUS WAS THERE
v.5 And one of the elders saith unto John, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David - the Lord JESUS - hath prevailed to OPEN the book, and to BREAK UP the seven seals thereof. Then John's eyes were opened as shown in verse 6: Remember that in the chapter 4 John did see that in the great Ceremony there were four Cherubs, and day and night they never stop saying “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty - who is JESUS -, which was, and is, and is to come.
v.6 And John beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four Cherubs, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth, The seven spirits are: the spirit of wisdom, and the spirit of understanding, and the spirit of counsel, and the spirit of might, and the spirit of knowledge, and the spirit of fear of the Lord, and the holy spirit.
THE SEALED BOOK IS DELIVERED TO JESUS
v.7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.
GOD Father gave the sealed book to JESUS and from now on He entered in His rest, so JESUS takes the control not only of the whole Earth but also of the Universe(Matthew 28:18, take a look). The sealed book was with JESUS. JESUS is sat on the throne as King of kings and Lord of lords, and will open it.
Around Him are ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands of angels, and the 24 elders, and 4 Cherubs: The 24 crowned elders in this wonderful and celestial environment of this heavenly ceremony are: Moses - and Joshua - and Samuel - Ezra - Nehemiah - Job - David - Solomon - Isaiah - Jeremiah - Ezekiel -Daniel - Hosea - Joel - Amos - Obadiah - Jonah - Micah - Nahum - Habakkuk - Zephaniah - Haggai - Zechariah - Malachi.
v.8 And when JESUS took the book, the four Cherubs and four and twenty elders(listed above) fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
v.9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to GOD by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS ESTABLISHED ON EARTH
v.10 And hast made us unto our GOD kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
v.11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the Cherubs and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
v.12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
v.13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and Honour, and Glory, and Power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
v.14 And the four Cherubs said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth for ever and ever.
JESUS open the book and break up one of the seven seals. This first seal reveals the PROPHETIC union between Christ and His Church (Revelation 6:v.1-2 combined with Psalms 45; mainly verse 5, take a look).
