I voted for Brian Carroll and you can't be more pro-life(not just pro-birth) than that, in my opinion.

What real chance did he have other than in your conscience?

Does not give you an excuse to bash.

I am guilty, again, of taking over the purpose of this thread.

I vote for who I want to be president, not who I think can win.

Even if I was concerned about voting for a winner, Arkansas was in the bag for Trump so voting for either major party candidate would have had no effect on Arkansas' electoral votes.

I suggest you stop walking around with you eyes shut tight. Stop listening to the Trump and his acolytes and the nonsense they are spewing.
Keep that attitude and maybe in your next bid for office the deep state will seat you even if the voters won't vote for you.

No thanks. Running for Congress once was quite sufficient.

Some of these want to turn the tables so that anyone who disobeys a government edict is a domestic enemy.

In his June 2, 2020, article in The Atlantic, former Chairman of the Joint Staff Admiral Mike Mullen wrote, “Our fellow citizens are not the enemy, and must never become so.”

The admiral’s statement comes dangerously close to outing him as a domestic enemy, or perhaps puts him in the category. By definition, foreigners here legally or illegally cannot be domestic enemies, only foreign. The only domestic enemies would be fellow citizens whose allegiance is not to the US as demonstrated by action.

By taking a stance that rules out the very ones who could be domestic enemies, the admiral is in effect denying his oath to defend the Constitution against domestic enemies. At the very least, anyone doing that should be forced out of the military, out of government.

My great fear is that we will simply sit back and debate the issues while enemies of the Constitution are actively destroying the foundation on which our democratic republic rests. It seems that an active response is needed, but I can't say just what it is that might be needed.
Our founders gave it all to oppose tyrany and establish our republic. We will apparently give what is convenient so long as we can have sports and entertainment, heating and air conditioning, gas in our cars, and maybe some social media. In a way it is like the native Hawaiians who didn't mind too much that foreigners were inhabiting their land so long as they could get to the beach and go fishing. Before too long they no longer had a country.

Not to worry. There are plenty of folks pushing back on the efforts by Donald Trump and his followers to destroy our representative constitutional republic form of government. I think the the SCOTUS will put an end by the close of today, or at least by Monday when the Electoral College votes, to their efforts through the court system to do so.

You're in the wrong forum Ken. Your comments belong in the joke page.
