The GOP cannot introduce a bill of impeachment against Obama no matter what else he does. It would be political suicide and that person would be framed by the government for something. It is clear what happened in Fast and Furious, Libya, the IRS, and the AP case. In my opinion, the GOP should say that they are going to shut down these investigations because the Democrats ain't ready for reform. The GOP should just say that that is the way things are when the Democrats get elected.

CNN poll: 59% approve of GOP's Benghazi handling. Can't have your cake and eat it too. :)

Obama knows most of the Americans who voted for him are weak minded and don't even follow current events. The Mainstream media will even keep these scandals to a minimum to keep the Presidents popularity high.

Obama has succeeded in Fundamentally changing America..he did it. I ask you , is this the same America from 5 years ago? He has brought his Chicago style machine to DC and spread radical, subversive politics to us all. There is no telling what we don't know. God help us all.

Culture of Intimidation

With new reports today that the Obama Department of Justice leaked documents intended to smear a whistleblower in the Fast and Furious gunwalking scandal, it is now more obvious than ever that this administration has, in the words of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), created a “culture of intimidation” that stretches from the White House down to myriad agencies of the executive branch.

Your source is an in-credible source. It is simply a biased opinion piece ... as are all the stories at the site you quoted.

Benghazi has been explained. They asked for bodyguards and they were denied. Benghazi was a CIA outpost. Obama ordered two stand-downs. The GOP cannot win because the public is not interested. Any attacks on Obama are deflected as racist.

About the most that the GOP can get from this administration is the resignation of Holder as Attorney General but even that is unlikely since he is Obama's best friend.

As the GOP learned in Mogadishu, the Clintons will never take responsibility for anything. In that instance, Les Aspin--a middleman in the denial of reinforcements to Somalia under the command of Colin Powell--was fired. So Hillary will never answer for Libya.

I still predict that all these scandals will fade away because the Democrats ain't ready for reform.

Crabby sober mindedness is needed when posting. It is best to let your emotions settle down first.

Oh, I'm sober. I never touch alcohol.

Your referenced web site is simply an opinion site for posting extreme and often slanted information.

Seems the general public realize the GOP is simply playing politics.

Obama's popularity remains steady amid scandals

Two recently released polls reveal that President Barack Obama's approval rating remains virtually unchanged despite bureaucratic scandals and a public grilling on Benghazi this month.

According to a CNN and ORC International survey conducted May 17-18, 53 percent of Americans approve of the way Obama is handling his job as president. Fifty-one percent of Americans responded favorably to that same question in April, before the latest Department of Justice and Internal Revenue Service scandals hit.

And the GOP hoping to smear Hillary does not seem to be working. More for them to worry about.

Poll: Hillary Clinton more popular than President Obama

Though currently retired, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is still more popular than President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden ...
Gallup: Hillary Clinton more popular than Obama, Biden The Hill (blog)

Liberals do not like Rbiebart because they do not give Obama a pass. To say it is an opinion piece is to show you have not read it as usual.

59% approve of the GOP handling Benghazi. Apparently you do not read the news much unless it fits your protect obama at all costs agenda.

All news sources have bias to include politico. And it is itself an extreme left wing site.

To an extent popularity polls are skewered by name recognition. Obama is shielded by the hard left who control the Democrat Party. Looking back, Nixon fell because the Republicans were disgusted by what he did even though no one died. In Obama's case, the Democrats consider what they did in Fast and Furious, Libya, the IRS and the AP as business as usual.

We have lived through many bad Democrat Presidents: FDR, JFK, LBJ, Carter and Clinton. BHO only has 3 1/2 more years to go. He has only the Nobel Peace Prize as his legacy. The Baptist Board should give the Nobel Peace Prize to all new registrations who post at least a dozen times....

Where do you get this revisionist history? I watched the House impeachment vote for Nixon when it was on live TV. All Democrats on the House committee voted for all three articles of impeachment. Only one Republican voted for all three articles of impeachment.

Nixon fell because he had tape recorded White House meetings. That was his downfall.

BHO only has 3 1/2 more years to go. He has only the Nobel Peace Prize as his legacy.

He's got his signature legislative achievement, ObamaCare. He also has the staggering run-up in national debt as his legacy. Few will remember Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize a decade or two down the road, but everyone will remember he gave us ObamaCare.

The GOP told Nixon that he could be convicted if he went to trial in the Senate for covering up at Watergate. Therefore, Nixon resigned before he was impeached. What difference does it make what happened in the committee? Those votes are free until the matter gets to the floor.

There is absolutely no disgust among the Democrats for what they did.

As for Obamacare, it is already considered a train wreck by everyone--it took $700 billion from Medicare and is going to install death panels to ration medical care for the elderly as is already done in Britain. But you are probably correct that Obama will be remembered for destroying the greatest medical system in the history of the world. I was trying to think of his positive achievements and the Nobel Peace Prize seems to be a positive achievement--a lot of car washes are giving them way if you buy a book of coupons.

The Senate and House was predominantly Democratic in those Nixon years. He didn't need the GOP to tell him he would be impeached.

The committee vote is important because it refutes your assertion that Nixon fell because the GOP was disgusted with what he did. If they were so disgusted why did some NOT vote for impeachment?
