Unanimous. Praise the Lord. It is my prayer one day we may vote on abortion.Originally posted by webmaster:
BAN SAME-SEX MARRIAGE RESULTS:
ARKANSAS YES 75%
GEORGIA YES 77%
KENTUCKY YES 75%
MICHIGAN YES 59%
MISSISSIPPI YES 86%
MONTANA YES 66%
NORTH DAKOTA YES 73%
OHIO YES 62%
OKLAHOMA YES 76%
OREGON YES 57%
UTAH YES 66%
What I find interesting is that all of those Marriage Ammendments that we helped to pass by an overwhelming majority is that it was not Bush who initiated these ballot initiatives. We, the people of the states, did that through our own state consititutions (The Confederacy would have been proud). Riddle me this batman: Why could we not do the same thing with abortion within each of the state Constitutions as well?Originally posted by C4K:
That will never happen till we elect a president who is TOTALLY opposed to ALL abortions. Let us see if the Supreme Court appointments are true pro-lifers. Now that we have a public mandate in the White House and Congress we are sure to see major changes in the next appointments.
I am so happy with myselfOriginally posted by C4K:
If you add the 5 Nevada votes that every network has given Bush that has not given him Ohio you have 274.
Final tally (wait and see)
Bush 286
Kerry 252
About 2 to 4 of them. I believe he will.Originally posted by C4K:
Because, after Roe v Wade we need a Supreme Court who are pro-life. Will the president appoint judges who will overturn Roe v Wade so that he states will have that power?
