My dad and Cheryl's dad were talking in general about abuse. They made it clear, that if I ever hit my wife, going to jail would be the least of my problems. Yikes  !

I love Cheryl. I lived with her for several years before I was married. Cheryl and I have been married for 15 yrs. I spend time with Cheryl 24/7, whether at work or home, with the occasional trip out of town.

I guess I'd better stop in and say 'hi' since I have now joined the "60 and over" club.

Vivian and I used to work together when we owned a business cleaning newly constructed homes before the new owners moved in. We also spent a lot of time together when we were running Subway in Pekin, and we each were managers in Augusta of Subway stores on Peach Orchard Rd (mine, and the biggest in Augusta at the time) and on Walton Way.

LOL...Sue, you're a riot! But, hey, Vivian's mom used to have to beat Vivians dad up every Thursday to get his paycheck. She is a large woman, and he was only a 98lb weakling. Sad....he would drink it all up otherwise. :(

Tony, I remember one week my father spent his whole paycheck on a motor for a boat. He put it in a 55 gallon drum in our back yard and started it. We never DID have a boat tho. We never saw her hit him but she sure hit US!

I'm always trying to come up with more ways to earn money. I don't think we'll ever be able to catch up that mortgage payment and it REALLY bothers me. I'm trying to find some extra kids to care for during the holidays while the parents shop, go to parties, etc. Hope I can get some for New Years Eve too.

Don't let Gib fool you. His sister is a Cheryl. His wife is a Cheryl and he works with a Cheryl. Now there's something about a sister in law too but I've forgotten that part. LOLOL

Did the director number you David1, David2, etc.?

When that happened in our choir, the director would just point to the one he wanted.

I worked with four "Tony's" at one time, so there were five of us. So, I became "Big Tony" and my Mexican cohort became little Tony. The others became T-1, T-2, and T3.

Exactly. He would clasp his hands
with his pointer fingers touching.
He would use them as a "David"
indicator. That and his cold steel
eyes were a dead giveaway who he
was talking to.

Diane is not a very common name. We do have two 5 year olds named Diane and Diana at church tho and one lady older than me (about 61 I think) who is also Diane. We're friends and her husband and I are super buddies. He and Jim are a hoot together.

Well I bet my family has some of the more weird names!

Leottice is my father and grandfather. (Pronounced Lee-Ot-is) My grandmothers real first name was Sabra Elizabeth(Choctaw Indian) but she used Sadie. My other grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth but she went by Lizzie.

Aunt Myrtle and Aunt Vera were two of my favorite Great Aunts. I had 2 Great Aunt Vera's but the former prostitute/ alcoholic turned Christian was my favorite of the two. The other was VERY rich and she brought me bags of hand me down dresses from the private school where she was Principal. I have an Uncle Norman and an Uncle Fred (Fredrick).

LOL...Those names aren't too bad. I can't divulge the wierd names that my family has bestowed on their lineage...it would be too much of a shock! I've got two brother named Mike, one whom I've never met or even talked to, though others in my family have. The same with my two brothers named Bill. There are so many of us, I've truly lost count. My birth father has been married four or five times, and his brother, my uncle, was my step mothers step father two different times! Somehow this made me my own uncle!

My Grandfather was full of anger and bitterness. He joined the marines when he was young. That made him a tough, angry man holding onto bitterness. It was not till late in life he softened up. I told Grandma I was going to name our first after him. She said she would skin my hide if I did. His name was Romeo Rosell.
