Thought my fam in THIS generation was handling names with a little grace. But not.

I have nephews named:
Tucker
Andre
Django
Z
Anahod (Hod)

Not much hope, methinks.

I have three neices named Lyndsay, two nephews named Sam, and three neices and two nephews named Kelsey. Talk about hard keeping track of who's who.

Taylor plays baseball with a fella that signs his name Buckshot. His momma calls him the same and when Taylor asked him what his real name was, he said "Buckshot."

That doesn't surprise me, Gib. I had an employee who legally changed her name to "Chevroletta Corvetta" when I ran the Subway in Augusta, GA. She named her daughter Chevette, and her son Lemonjello (Lemon Jello). I thought she was kidding until she brought her birth certificate and her kids in and the court order changing her name legally. She was born as Sheneaka Tehanna Davis (initials STD...people kept calling her "sexually transmitted disease" so she changed her name).

Oh you guys have me beat with the weird names!

My grandchildren all have real names. I don't like these 'invented' names!

Who called her that? Not your mom and dad? (He's bringing that BIMBO to supper again!)

My parents didn't like Jim being from Chicago. LOL. Their marriage lasted until my wedding night and ours has lasted forever.

Vivian is an unusual name. It's hard to find any little trinkets with her name on it. Her mom liked me when she first met me, but she didn't like that I voted for Reagan. She also didn't like the fact that I was a blankety blank yankee! Her dad was so drunk one night after we'd been dating for about two weeks that when I came to pick Vivian up, her dad met me at the door, invited me in, and when Vivian came out he introduced us...LOL....It embarrassed Vivian, but it didn't bother me. Her dad eventually grew to like me pretty well before he died. He was so small I could pick him up and carry him into the house under my arm like a pop would his kid, and I had to do that on a number of occasions when he was drunk.

Bob-Cheryl says she can't believe I told anyone that. I'm glad she doesn't see the other things I say.

Well, tell her I knew some bimbo's in my day, too, and not ALL of them were floozey's.

Most, not all.
