So how is paradise already in the third heaven? 2 Corinthians 12:2-4.
Paradise is separated from "torments" by a great gulf, remember. But it's not in God's home. Remember, Jesus went to paradise for 3 days & nights, but when He left it & came back here, He told the women who first saw Him that He hadn't yet ascended to His Father. So paradise must be in that realm; indeed all of hades is in the spirit world, which I believe is the 3rd heaven, along with God's home.

How so?
Infants in Israel were not saved by their circumcision. Nor are infants in the Church saved by their baptism. In both cases salvation is by grace through faith. One was looking forward to the Promise in faith. The other is looking backward to the Promise in faith.
Circumcision was the badge of honor that made one part of the Old Covenant, but faith in Jesus as lord is that badge as being part of NC, not water baptism!

thats nonsense. if you take it that way then every time i go swimming im being Baptised, as i'm immersed in water.
You are, in terms of the Greek language, especially if someone dunks you.

But think about your metaphor...

In my case, I became a believer early in June 1979. I was not baptized until two weeks later. Between the time I came to faith and my baptism in church, I went swimming with friends. While we were messing around in the pool we dunking each other, went diving, and generally did what teenagers do.

Was I baptized in the swimming pool at the local park, or was I baptized on the Sunday evening two weeks later?

It's not just immersion, but a public profession of faith.

When Jesus ascended Paradise was moved Read 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 and per Ephesians 4:8.
