Genuine question. Do you think my personal interpretations of Scripture are better than what the Catholic Church has taught what Scripture means?
Genuine question. So whose interpretations of Scripture are guided in absolute truth by The Holy Spirit?

From history. What was the first Babylon?
Under Nimrod, Babylon sort world power, and built a great tower in defiance of God, a flood proof tower.
It was a political and syncretist religious entity, based on naturalism.
There is an organisation today that resembles this, but it does not operate overtly like old Babylon, it operates occultly or “hidden”. In fact it is renowned as a secret society.
It has nurtured every kind of revolutionary activity and ideology, even the French Revolution, and the Communist revolution.
They name and style themselves as builders too, but what they build is not of God, and in vain have they laboured.

Interesting. The Holy Spirit led me OUT of the rc denomination through the study of God's Word and the rc denomination.
So the men of the rc denomination led you out of the Baptist denomination. Got it. You still personally interpreted Scripture and decided the men of the rc denomination had it right.

The Fathers simply maintained the Apostles interpretation of Scripture.
That’s why it has always been strictly forbidden for any Catholic to privately interpret their own new interpretations from scripture.
The Holy Spirit operates through living memory, by Tradition.
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and will cause you to remember everything I said to you.”
So The Holy Spirit recalls to the Apostles minds everything Jesus said to them.
What the Apostles taught the elders of the church after them by The Spirit, those elders recalled everything the Apostles said to them and so on.
The Fathers are just keepers of the Apostolic teaching handed down through The Holy Spirit Father to Son.
Not only were the scriptures handed down Father to Son, their interpretation was also handed down Father to Son by The Holy Spirit giving perfect recall to the memory down the ages.
This is how The Holy Spirit operates to transmit Truth throughout time.
Not as some think, that they independently receive inspired interpretation when they pick up the Bible. Luther invented that idea.
If this were true all Bible aloners would be Lutheran holding only to the inspired interpretation of scripture that Luther thought he had.
Which was manifestly false, and Luther was kidding himself.
The Holy Spirit does not operate this way.
“True knowledge is [that which consists in] the doctrine of the apostles, and the ancient constitution of the Church throughout all the world, and the distinctive manifestation of the body of Christ according to the successions of the bishops, by which they have handed down that Church which exists in every place, and has come even unto us, being guarded and preserved without any forging of Scriptures, by a very complete system of doctrine, and neither receiving addition nor [suffering] curtailment [in the truths which she believes]; and [it consists in] reading [the word of God] without falsification, and a lawful and diligent exposition in harmony with the Scriptures, both without danger and without blasphemy; and [above all, it consists in] the pre-eminent gift of love, which is more precious than knowledge, more glorious than prophecy, and which excels all the other gifts [of God].” Irenaeus, Against Heresies, 4,33:8 (inter A.D. 180-199).
So not only did the Apostles hand down the scriptures, but also a very complete system of doctrine interpreting and explaining those scriptures.

No, the teaching and interpretation of scripture they maintain from the Apostles is infallible, their preaching by The Holy Spirit.
“but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.“
The Holy Spirit operates in the preaching, the Apostles recalled what Jesus said. Those that heard the Apostles preach by The Spirit recalled what they said and so on.
So the spoken word of God remains forever, from speaker to listener down the ages.
