Our view: Alabama voters must reject Roy Moore; we endorse Doug Jones for U.S. Senate

Just follow God’s command and pay your taxes. He does not memtion anything about an interpretation of a man-created constitution.

I would explain to you why this statement is absurd and rather ironic but if you said it in the first place no explanation will help you

Easy to argue RINOs like McConnell

Since most Republicans nationwide are like McConnell and company, not like Roy Moore and company, that makes Roy Moore and company the RINOS as they are out of step with the majority of U.S. Republicans.

“Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.” - Romans‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

If you are going to use scripture be sure you first understand it.

Republican elected officials are out of step with electorate.

No evidence of this

Of course, that is what I do. It's still theft when they misuse the money.

So Republicans are electing folks they disagree with and then complaining that those folks are not in agreement with them, eh? Doesn’t sound like all
that smart of a strategy.

I prefer value added taxes. You only pay for what you spend.

Yeah, but not on top of the income tax. Get rid of our current system and go with the "Fair Tax" (an extra tax on everything you buy). Is that what you mean by the VAT? Of course the 16th Amendment must be rescinded and the IRS abolished at the same time.

Maybe Moore is to the right of the national GOP but not to Alabama voters, else that Strange person would have beaten him in the primary this year. He had all of the advantages, including incumbency and the backing of the RNC but still Roy blew him away by over ten points.

Now on the national stage, I don't think GOP voters are disagreeing with them, they just want them to deliver on their campaign promises but so far, McConnell the GOPe RINO isn't providing that necessary leadership. It is not so much of an ideological fault, more of a performance one. They are coasting on their past success and they are getting away with it because the thought of a radical pro-choice democrat like Jones is never going to wash in Alabama.

Go ahead and donate to him again, no matter. It'll do as much good as the 30+M Ossoff blew last summer.

No, the Republicans are breaking their campaign promises.

Well, we have, effectively, a two party system in this country and Roy Moore is on the far right. By comparison, Doug Jones is a moderate and I was quite willing to donate to his campaign when the news about Moore came out.
Yup. “Verdict first, trial afterward”. (from Alice in wonderland)

Besides, you voted for Hillary. Who laughed about getting a pedophile rapist acquitted. Who ran interference for her husband’s serial abuse of women. You have no moral standing.

"---To be clear: it's not only his record on women and children that disqualifies Moore. If we vote for Roy Moore, Alabama will also show that we don't care about you if you're gay or Muslim or Catholic. If you're an atheist or an immigrant. We'll show each other that we only care about Roy Moore's definition of Alabama. And that there's not room for the rest of us.---"

More identity politics. and failed policies.

That's all democrats have.

BTW Isn't this the same rag that endorsed Hillary? In Alabama? Where Trump got 70% of the vote.
Not exactly in tune with the voters, I'd say.

Who are you referring to as a "pedophile?"
