Pence, something to think about

Here’s a little snippet from Tucker’s new book……

In discussing his tenure at CNN, Carlson recalled that Mike Pence was one of the most frequent guests booked on his program. Pence, who was a young, ambitious congressman at the time, was “creepy as h***” even then, Carlson says.

“I’ve been around him a lot, and always felt that he was a totally sinister figure, craven and dishonest,” he tells author Chadwick Moore. “Everything about Pence is false.”

Carlson tells the author that he believes Pence purposely sabotaged the Trump Administration over the entire course of his tenure. He believes that the Pence insubordination campaign went into overdrive during the covid hysteria era, when he stood up the infamous White House Coronavirus Task Force, and delivered unprecedented power to Dr. Anthony Fauci.

While noting that this does not absolve President Trump from ultimate responsibility for his actions, Carlson perceives Pence’s role as someone deployed into the administration to “undermine Trump and to keep an eye on him.”
Pure speculation. No proof. Just nonsense

Pence isn't worth a single pence politically. He has just joined the Never-Trumpers --Romney & Company.
I didn’t see that joint news conference with Romney. Do you have a link?

Or, are you saying anyone who doesn’t support DT for POTUS is a “never Trumper” despite serving as VP for 4 years.

Pence was the best person DT had in his cabinet, and defended him often, because the policies were good for the country.

I see Pence has qualified for the first repub debate. I suspect he will distinguish himself in the coming months and make a strong candidate.

peace to you

Watch this clip Pence just accidentally admitted he could have turned the 2020 election over to the House of Representatives but he didn't because he was worried about 'chaos' That means he admits he knew that he had the legal ability to do that

Just because something is legal - does not mean you have to - or even if you should do it!

Pence said the obvious. He “could have”, but it was unconstitutional and it would have caused widespread chaos. He wasn’t saying he had the legal authority, just the opposite.

AND… every dem VP in the future would never certify a repub POTUS and Pence would have established that precedence.

Bottom line, what DT wanted Pence to do was unconstitutional and Pence demonstrated enormous integrity and courage by doing the right thing.

DT, not so much

Bill Barr and Mike Pence are two of the most self-righteous frauds I've ever seen in public life. Barr's discussion about the latest indictments supposedly involving Jan. 6 is incoherent and imbecilic. In other words, he has nothing but contempt for Trump because Trump fired him, and he would be thrilled if Trump not only lost the election but was sentenced to years in prison. That's why he is on his own egomaniacal public tour, doing press everywhere and anywhere trashing the former president and, mostly, giving aid and comfort to Garland and Smith. Mike Pence is another piece of work. He took notes in his discussion with the president about the election for the purpose of covering his ass one day, even though a president is free to ask his vice president to delay the counting of electors (whether or not that's a good idea is beside the point, it is not unconstitutional or illegal). Pence first fought the grand jury subpoena. After he was forced to testify and provide his notes (which he took in secret), now he tries to position himself as some great hero. He fooled no one and destroyed his reputation. Both of them are now in great demand by news organizations because they serve the purposes of DOJ and the Democrat Party media. Disgraceful.

Of course Pence took notes on Jan 6. There was a riot. DT asked him to do something he believed to be unconstitutional based on conversations with his attorneys. Good to have written records on these conversations. Lavin is an attorney. He knows that. He is a DT can do no wrong kind of guy.

DT called Pence a coward to his crowd of supporters. Many marched to the capital chanting “hang Mike Pence!”

Yeah, Pence demonstrated, not only his integrity and courage that day, but also that he is a smart guy. He took notes to cover his basis.

This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard levin say.

Peace to you
