Thank you for your vote as well.

As for your question, you are probably correct, but I really don't know, maybe someone else can answer.

    Thanks again for your vote.

There is nothing stopping you from starting your own poll with the correct answer if you believe I have failed with this poll.

I don't get it, do you think I'm a Calvinist?

p.s. a question towards you still awaits an answer in the Hebrews 11 thread.

What a pernicious monster some Calvinist make of God. Straight out of Gnosticism.

Note the above GT. Winman gets his jollies, you're brave and consistent, and those of us who don't vote look like cowards.

Yep - That we don't know the answer to this because God has not told us. God is sovereign and He is good. What He does with infants, elect and not is right.

It is easier to convince yourself that you are so much more important than everyone else if you believe God is a monster to everyone but you. The total lack of humility by the prolific posters here is a testament to that fact.

GreekTim IS brave and consistent. I don't agree with him, but I respect his honesty.

I could actually have a good debate with Tim, because he is always honest.

But you guys have me all wrong, I am not betting you will all say you believe God sends babies to hell as GreekTim believes, I am betting that very few of you Calvinists truly believe God sends any babies to hell.

Why? Because even you Calvinists do not really believe babies are evil and have committed sins worthy of being sent to hell.

You really do not believe in Original Sin. You really don't believe babies are horrible sinners.

That is what I'm betting on, DHK does not get me at all.

I believe God CAN send babies to hell. I do believe in original sin and I do believe that babies are sinners just as the rest of us are. The question is how does God deal with the little ones and the ones who are so mentally disabled that we cannot communicate with them? I believe God CAN send them all to hell and I believe that He can also make a way to bring the Gospel to them in a way that they understand. It will be interesting to know the "how" with this subject but honestly, to say one way or another is just speculation. We cannot know the actual truth until we see Him face-to-face.

I have a different view. I don't believe it is a mystery at all. God clearly said Jacob and Esau had done no evil in their mother's womb, so why would he send them to hell if they would have died? And literally billions of children have died in the womb in the history of man.

And Jesus told his disiciples they must be converted and become as "little children" to enter heaven. Jesus didn't specify they must become as certain elect children, he simply said "little children" which would apply to all children.

If you must be converted and become as a little child to enter heaven, what does that tell you about little children? Does that suggest they are wicked sinners?

I say it suggests the exact opposite, that little children are not sinners at all.

So, it's not a mystery to me.

That still would mean either all are elect or all are not. There is no purgatory / third option. Someone is either guilty or not.

Actually, the Bible does tell us. The guilty perish.

If we were not totally helpless Christ would not have had to die.

I really do not understand what this has to do with the OP.

Yes, Jesus had to die for our sins and rise from the dead to save us.

But the OP is asking about babies who have not sinned, such as Jacob and Esau, the scriptures saying they had done no evil before they were born.

Does God send babies like this to hell, yes or no?

This is not a trick question, and I don't care how you answer. I have my own view and you are entitled to your own.

YOU brought up the subject of original sin. Total Depravity is at the core of this thread.

Christ HAD to die for these babies you're so concerned with.
