How did you think that Chris Wallace did?

What would I like to see -- The moderator should have the ability to turn the candidates mikes on and off

I watched the first half hour, & told my wife she could have it! Worked on a SS lesson till now.
Agree w/ JonC - if Trump could manage to keep his mouth shut sometimes, he would make a much better impression.
I'm 100% behind what Trump DOES; much less behind his excess verbage. Main reason I did not vote for him in the initial primary was his mouth.

I think the Vice-President did much better than I thought he would.
In the fact that Biden did not show and sign of dementia.

Yes he did. His only saving grace was Trump interrupting him stumbling.

Biden looked frail. They both looked childish

The biased talking head commentators were all saying Trump was acting like a bully. But he did just fine and nothing new information wise came out.

If people pay attention to the policies, how can Biden win seeing he will seriously raise taxes of 4 trillion, and Biden was very weak on the green new deal jobs he talks about. Nobody can seriously believe that government created jobs are good jobs in number and quality. He denies he is socialist but all his policies are very socialist ones.

Biden was also very weak on covid policies, blaming Trump for both the deaths and destroying the economy by shutting it down, but he is on record saying he will shut down the economy again if needed. And Biden was very critical of Trump shutting down international travel, which as Trump pointed out did save lives that Biden would have caused more people to die as he would not have acted as soon as Trump acted.

I watched for one minute.

"He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbor,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor."
Psalm 15:3

Covers the three players.

I know there is much more involved in this election than personalities but I prefer to read about the issues and the candidates' foul deeds.

Trump was in fact debating two people biden and wallace

Yup. Trump came in first, Wallace second, and Biden last.

Biden got questions about things long ago. He wants to bring back Carter's energy plan. He wants more government. He wants globalism and close ties with China. He said antifa was not a terrorist organization.

Trump got a third nomination for a nobel prize. Wallace didn't have any time for foreign policy. I liked his dad better.

I decided earlier to avoid the Presidential debates this year. However, I did read a few comments about the debate.

Time would have been better spent reading my Bible or listening to music.

No clear winner in getting their message out, but Biden did much better than predicted and generally held his own. The interrupting did not serve well. It was like a Dem debate.

Trump was too quick to stop Chris on the first question. He should have taken a few seconds during his answer to chastise him for biased phrasing by associating it with Fake News, then briefly referred to it as the debate went on. "Again with the biased phrasing."
