What then will there be for us?” 28Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.…
When did the Son of Man sit on His glorious throne? Was it after He ascended to His resting place in paradise- heaven? "In the renewal of all things" does not mean after the renewal but means during - in the process of . This means , because they would go to paradise-heaven after they ran their race and won , they would receive thrones, crowns scepters to reign over the body of Christ on earth
29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.
And those who do as the apostles did , will too receive a hundredfold the gifts of heaven and will inherit eternal life.
God has revealed those things to those who take Him at His word/love Him.
1 Corinthians: 2:9-10
9Rather, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.…
God told Jesus to sit at His right hand til He subdued all His enemies, but Jesus, also being God, can be anywhere & everywhere at the same time, as He chooses. For example, He said that wherever/whenever two or more are gathered in His name, He would be in their midst. (Matt. 18:20)
Jesus won't be on HIS throne til after He returns, the millenium passes, & the "Great White Throne" judgment occurs THAT throne is HIS throne. Then, the 12 apostles will judge the 12 tribes of Israel as Jesus said.
