Personally, I would love for Padre to be my pastor regardless of what you think about him.... but then again you probably can't understand.

Comfort and the banana. I love it!
Yea....that wasn't exactly a shinning moment for Mr. Comfort.I guess that you did not get the joke...
This was one of his biggest embarrassments.

Comfort did a video some years back about how the banana proved intelligent design. Why?
Comfort did a video some years back about how the banana proved intelligent design.
Because Comfort later retracted the video upon learning that the banana is a result of artificial selection by humans, and that the wild banana is not like our domesticated product. Why is that embarrassing?
His illustration of the banana he was holding was flawed but beyond that his comments were silly (God made the banana with three edges corresponding to the human hand, He made the fruit at an angle to be easy to eat, and designed it for us to easily peal). Why is that embarrassing?

I don't now why but I keep thinking of WKRP when Mr. Carlson tosses the turkeys out of the plane on Thanksgiving, not knowing that they couldn't fly.I guess that you did not get the joke...
I wonder if he's aware that most of the world holds the stem and begins peeling from what we would call the bottom of the banana. His illustration of the banana he was holding was flawed but beyond that his comments were silly (God made the banana with three edges corresponding to the human hand, He made the fruit at an angle to be easy to eat, and designed it for us to easily peal).
I like Comforts evangelism. But he speaks carelessly about things he knows nothing about. I wish he would spend moer time learning before teaching.
