19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Romans 1:19 - 23...

This is a people to whom God has revealed Himself to, yet chose to reject Him.

They knew who God was, but chose not to glorify Him as God. They became conceited, not revering God as God, but mere man

SBC,

This site is just one of the several venues of Rick Warren's Saddleback. Click on the links on the left of the page and you will see. It even gives you audio messages by Rick and his other pastors.

SFIC, that site says nothing of the sort. It is a blog of a person that keeps up with things in the "contemporary" church. I see no link to Rick Warren and Saddleback.

The passage does not say God revealed Himself in them, but 'that which may be known of God is manifest in them'. There is a difference. He reveals Himself through His Word. These rejected the Word given.

On the main page there is some links to Warren stuff, but not in support of it. That is not a site that is connected with Warren and his ministry.

This is not a webpage that is connected as you stated to Warren and Saddleback.

How was God revealed to those who had no written Word of God...like say Moses and Abraham?

And you seem to have your hands full bashing them on this thread with a very unwarranted generalization...although, I don't think it is quite as funny as you seem to think it is.

</font>[/QUOTE]Oh come on Joseph. It was a joke with truth. This comment hardly qualifies as bashing. If you can find one and I mean one comment in which I have personally attacked a person or a pastor, post it. How many threads do we have that have run well over 100 posts’ in which there is negative comment after negative comment made about Warren, Graham or others? There are misconstrued statements and personal attacks against these men of God. If my comment qualifies as bashing then so does yours. I said they were bashing and you said I was bashing, hence the circular logic.

IOW, it is not a primary source. It is, rather, a secondary source that tells you what he said without verifying it. Around here, we call that slander or gossip or some such.

That is not the page that SFIC posted here, it was the one with added commentary that was not with Warren's words.

People can clearly see that by going to the original link. SFIC was basing his comments on the commentary of someone other than Warren or his church.

Thats all I got to say about it.
