People such as Dick Morrie think the election will be about illegal immigration because people all over the world are seeing the damage it does. Look at the filthy mess San Francisco is. No one wants to go there.

Why isn't Cruz popular?
I think it's a personality thing.
But everyone agrees he's intelligent and very good on the issues.
He will beat O'Rourke by at least 7+ points, in spite of all the high powered left wing money coming into the state to unseat him.

I think that he is just green on the national stage but I don't know. He appeared in an adjoining suburb to me here in Indiana in 2016 but I did not know about it until the day after. He is against ethanol so he loses the greedier farmers in Indiana. I hate ethanol. His father fled the dictator Bautista so Dems hate him. And then he is a Baptist....
Well, I can't be THAT optimistic, at least yet, but I will call for Cruz to win - the D is simply awful and in way over his head. Somebody from Texas told me anybody from El Paso has YUGE trouble winning a federal election and this Beto guy is far from a great candidate.
Some of the other Senate elections, I dunno - Claire in MO is poised for defeat, but so is that #neverTrumper GOP guy in NV. And Donnely is running so far so fast to the right in Indiana, it may work - saw a poll pretty recently that said he was in a dead heat. But what's really funny to me is Menendez is in a little bit of trouble in New Jersey with that Hugin person hovering around.
