Aside from the fact that I don't hate Obama, the answer is yes, I do pray for him...& my (white) Pastor prays for Obama in church regularly, that he would make wise decisions in the running of our country. He also wants Romney to beat him because Romney has better economic sense. Neither is strongly pro-life, though Obama's opposition to the "Born-alive" law in IL is well-documented, and should make the news more.

I had many black, Asian and Hispanic friends & partners in ministry, & housemates when I lived in Boston...Not so many now that I live in small-town Indiana. I don't say this to brag, but simply to demonstrate that it's ridiculous to accuse people you don't know of racism just because they don't vote for Obama.

As I said before, for the vast majority of voters, the listed party of the candidate matters more than anything else...Dems would vote for a white Democrat...Reps would vote or a black Reb. The number of those who would vary from this is small.

Does he pray for Romney's salvation? Strange that you never hear much about that. we hear a lot about abortion and same sex marriage and a desire that he beats Obama. But ain't nobody talking about this man being on the way to hell. Why is that?

One might say that it's just as ridiculous to accuse people you don't know of supporting a particular candidate just because he doesn't support your candidate of choice.

I generally only capitalize black and white when talking about a group of people. Although I try to correct it because I'll type and hit the cap button, I've noticed that I have missed it in places.

This kind of rhetoric is what it is. And it is the direct result of the John Sununus, and Ann Coulters and Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons and several people on here showing with a certain degree of bitterness and seeming hatred of a candidate.

It ain't an issue of morality cause they are both immoral.
It might be a money thing cause some have certainly shown a propensity to vote their pocketbooks over God.

But there has been a display by several folks on here that for sure goes into hatred of that man in office. And it just might be because of his skin color. I'm not saying that it is. But I do understand, from a lot of the comments that I've seen on this board from Christians, why Blacks think this is about hatred of Obama because of his skin color.

So living in a fairly racist area of the country( not quite sure how you've managed to measure this), why is it such a stretch for you to believe that there might be some of those same folks who would not vote for Obama because of his skin color even if they don't "discuss" it?

Not necessarily; I'm a republican yes. Actually I'm very disapointed with either canidate this time around. We are expected to vote for the lessor of two evils because both men are as evil as they come. They both lie like Satan. Voting for Romney is not a change they are both cut from the same bolt of cloth. They both want the same things. Neither one cares about anything but their particular agendas. If Romney wins we still get socialism and for certain we get that same thing from Obama. It's a which would you prefer. an Islamic or a Mormon both are godless.

We, the Christian majority, nominated these "creeps". We let the Washington establishment choose for us. Where were the Christian majority voters when, systematically, every conservative candidate was kicked off the ballot?

By the time the polls opened here in NC in May, the damage had already been done. We already knew exactly who would be on top of the ticket in the fall.

We wasted 3 years that could have been put to good use towards having someone "worth their salt" on the Republican ticket in November. We didn't. The blame rests solely with us. We nominated these "creeps" for 2012, just as we did in 2008.

Didn't we do this with mcCain and then folks held their breath and just voted for him anyhow even if they didn't want to?

Folks keep getting nominated who the base ain't crazy about and at the end of the day, folks go into the voting booth and vote for them just because they are the party candidate.
