He allows that in this present age before the Second Coming....

What exactly would be the difference in allowing worship of false gods and allowing same sex marriage?

Other than, of course, the ick factor (for many).

God NEVER has changed His stance on what he says is legal and valid marriage....

God has permiited other so called false gods in the world though, correct?

So what about polygamy in the OT?

You have this language of permission as if it matters in some way. It doesn't. You want to actively, legally protect the rights of people to sin (i.e. worship a false god).

How is that different in the case of same sex marriage?

I love to watch Christians defend and try to legitimize sin.:Biggrin

It just reinforces the fact that one cannot be a Christian and a liberal both. They are mutually exclusive.

gain, did God ever change his mind as to what is a valid marriage? if Not, why should we tryto redefine it then?

Polygamy was my answer to your first question.

The question is not what God did or didn't do. The question is what are the rights under the U.S. Constitution.

Why is blatant idolatry and worshiping other gods OK to protect but gay marriage isn't?

If you do not understand the difference between the issue of religion and the issue of homosexuality then no one can help you. It is like trying to explain 1+1=2 to someone who is having a difficult time understanding it.

I say the same with respect to similarities. We'll just agree to disagree.

There re NOrightsd granted by the us Constitution to either abortion or gay marrigr, as bot issues were to be decided at state, not federal, levels!
