Thats why he saved it for the noon speech.
Did you see the speech at the prayer breakfast? It was inappropriate. Was the noon speech more in your face? Absolutely, but the prayer breakfast was out of line. And believe me, I am a staunch Trump supporter.

Here is the quote:

Weeks ago, and again yesterday, courageous Republican politicians and leaders had the wisdom, the fortitude, and strength to do what everyone knows was right. I don’t like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong. Nor do I like people who say, “I pray for you,” when they know that that’s not so.

So many people have been hurt, and we can’t let that go on. And I’ll be discussing that a little bit later at the White House.

It wasn't in your face, but it was unnecessary and inappropriate for the situation. Especially when he had the noon speech coming. But I'm sure it was for Pelosi's benefit who was sitting four chairs away.

I think that his point was that the same ones who claimed that they love and pray for him were ones actually shoving their knives in his back!

I think you should watch it if you're interested in knowing the truth of how he handles it. You may have to eat some crow, but the truth is better than ignorant pre-judgment.

I don't think I was being ignorant in saying that I had decided not to watch.

David Taylor, in this thread, said that he was disgusted with this morning prayer breakfast speech as it was not appropriate for the setting.

I just took that to mean, for me, I did not want to watch more of the same at noon. It's all moot now anyway as I thought it came on at noon, but it was 11:00 here.

I get the point, I'm not saying he was wrong in WHAT he said, I am saying it was not the time or place.

I saw it and loved it. What was inappropriate was evil Nacy even being at a Prayer breakfast.

He should have said more. He should have prayed for Nancy the way David prayed for his enemies.

Trump said this at the Prayer Breakfast, and I don't know why we have those things anyway: "I don't like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong. Nor do I like people who say 'I pray for you' when they know that that's not so. So many people have been hurt and we can't let that go on."

Pelosi says that she is RCC but she has a Vatican Court ruling that she is not to receive communion because of her worldwide leadership on abortion but I am sure that she is getting communion somewhere if she wants it. As for Romney, he is not a Christian but a member of the Mormon Cult.

The Bible tells us public prayer is something the hypocrites do. Prayer should be treated reverently and it seldom is when politicians throw it into the mix. And I say this knowing I will vote for him in November.

Anybody at your Church pray out loud?

Only men who our pastor picks to lead in prayer. And leading a congregation of like-minded folks in prayer in no way resembles the ecumenical mess that I saw this morning.
Your church uses public prayer. Seems your indictment also covers your church.
