What we do is a seperate issue. Minimizing assads actions as you have is disgusting.
I am not minimizing anything. He is a dictator on par with most dictators of history. Worse than some, not even close to others.
If we were truly concerned about human rights, we would not be allies of Saudi Arabia or Egypt.

What is the alternative?

The alternative is to cut and run, leaving our allies to the Wolves. That's what started the current disorder. Of course the real alternative is to throw the warmongers out of office. Republicans started our current debacle in the middle east, ruined our economy and then blamed Democrats for their messes. The current administration is supported by 80-90% of Republicans. Keep them in office and we won't have an America left. Beware trying to get rid of the Narcissist currently inhabiting our Presidency.

Narcissism
is the pursuit of gratification from vanity or egotistic admiration of one's idealized self image and attributes. This includes self-flattery, perfectionism, and arrogance. The term originated from Greek mythology, where the young Narcissus fell in love with his own image reflected in a pool of water.

We owe the Kurds nothing. They are terrorists who seek to destabilize legitimate governments. We helped them in their cause, that doesn't make us allies and doesn't mean we owe them anything. They've been attacking Turkey, our real ally, and Turkey has a right to defend itself.

We didn't just suddenly cut and run. The Kurds have known for a while that Trump intended to pull US troops. And, now that we are, Syria is moving in the direction of peace, because the only reason US troops was there to was to help the Kurds be violent.

False since the Kurds did our fighting against ISIS and paid with more than 12k of their own dead in comparison to 6 U.S. troops. I suspect that the criminal, who temporarily occupies the White House, made himself a few more million out of that deal. Erdogan has paid CASH to members of the crook's Cabinet before. Remember Mike Flynn who could have made 12 million to turn over one of Erdogan's enemies. Once Trump smelled money, his true greedy self came to the surface. Trump has now established himself as a bigger traitor than Benedict Arnold. Beware his next move. Amen?

ISIS is their enemy, not ours. That's the lives of six US troops and billions of dollars we gave them for their cause, not ours. And, we did for them what they wanted done by overthrowing Saddam, which cost us magnitudes more.

How long as we suppose to stay in the middle-east to protect the Kurdish terrorists?

A normal President would ask their Generals how to make an exit which would not cause our friends to be slaughtered. The idiot in charge says okay to Erdogan, which leaves some one thousand U.S. troops caught between the Turks and the advancing Syrian Army with the Russians and Iranians. Such stupidity is hard to fathom. It's the dumbest Military move ever made and reveals that if you give Trump enough money, he will do ANYTHING for you....and Putin. Bomb shelters could be our fastest growing business.

It was a brilliant move. Trump is pulling a Reagan. Think Iran / Iraq war. Think about how long Reagan Drew it out by ensuring arms parity between the two sides.

I see. Trump doesn't care if he starts World War 3 so long as he can make a buck running guns. Am I surprised that he may be copying another Republican? Of course not, since I've lived long enough to identify the greedy versus the people, long ago. Reagan was running guns to right wing groups (Contras) in Nicaragua. As with many Republicans, he wasted millions running a secret war, in order to fulfill his warmongering desires.

I personally liked Ronald Wilson Reagan because the number of letters in his name are 666, but he wasn't anti-Christ. Do you think it was a warning of what was to come? if we kept electing Republicans?

Not ww3, just a regional conflict.

The Democrats are anti Christian. They must be the forerunners of Antichrist.

Now, you've become a psychic with knowledge of the future? Read the story of the end of mankind as we know it, in Scripture. You can find it in Daniel, Isaiah, Hebrews, and Revelation. Get back with us when your speculation comes into agreement with God's Truth. Amen?

We gain nothing from that.

Republican warmongers do. They get to watch the carnage live on Fox News. They get giddy just thinking about it. That's because many of them had bone spurs, rich daddies, and loud whining to keep themselves out of service. ie. our fearless leader, our Commander in Chief, the Head Narcissist.

You're nasty ugly about this. We get it. You hate the president and you hate republicans. You honestly think you're persuading anyone here to do likewise?

Trump has been signalling his desire to pull out since he took office (including announcing a pull out months ago). It is dishonest of people to say Trump doing this without notice, just like it's dishonest to say the Kurds are our allies (aside from us sharing the same agenda for a while). And, we don't know anything that has gone on behind the scenes.

Lots of dishonesty surrounding this:

Democrats Denounce President Trump For Ending Syrian War They Never Authorized….

"The level of political nonsense today from the House of Representatives is off-the-charts. Speaker Pelosi calls a resolution to the House floor to denounce President Trump for removing 28 troops from a foreign war never authorized by the same House.

If Pelosi wants to have a war with Syria, then declare one. Or, Pelosi could call a resolution to the House floor to condemn Turkish President Erdogan for invading Syria. Instead, the House votes to denounce President Trump for getting our military out of the way. The Democrats are the party of war, and a whole bunch of republicans are supporting them. Why? Simply, because war is a big business from K-Street.

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Steny Hoyer walk out of a meeting with President Trump because, according to them, the president called the speaker a “third-rate politician”. Speaker Pelosi replied “I wish you were a politician”…. How typical is that?

@TheLastRefuge2

Interesting to think about.

Speaker Pelosi brings a resolution to the floor to denounce President Trump for removing 28 U.S. troops from Syria.

Speaker Pelosi does not bring a resolution to the floor denouncing Turkish President Erdogan for invading Syria...."
