... Those ex-members who have left Adventism are quite vocal in their opposition,
Not all, and not even most, but truly some. Some are rather loud, that is for certain. I have had conversation with some of them.

They all have varying reasons. There is not a 'universal', one size fits all, reason.

They care for the souls of those who are still members, and they feel it their duty to warn others before they join.
Some sincerely feel that way, I am most certain, though we both know that sincerity is no standard of truth.

This thread has reached its end, and therefore, to attempt to reply and have dialogue about the remainder of things would be unfair to you, and it is therefore, better to start a Questions For Adventists II page. I would be glad to continue with you and others there.

See the video in total, or the powerpoint included if you do not like video.

I watched the whole video, despite their being such poor preachers ("elders") & didn't see one Scripture that says Jesus entered the heavenly temple & began any "investigative judgment".

God onows each person's life, & at death, one's soul goes to paradise if righteous, & "torments" if not saved. Thus, each person is already judged.

The "Great White Throne" judgment will be the official pronoubcement of judgment upon the lost. No one's status will change.

"Investigative judgment" is just another of EGW's phony inventions.

Ok, truly, thank you for watching. I appreciate those who take the time to consider a view point not their own, and possibly end up still disagreeing.
You're correct-I still disagree, and for sound reasons.

You may believe as you wish, but my own religious beliefs are based strictly upon Scripture, believed as literally as is reasonable & in accordance with common sense. I don't believe the writings of EGW, Joey Smith, the preterist boys, the James Gang, or any other of those mountebanks & charlatans.
