I believe we all have elements of race superiority or race pride within our bosom.

while this recording is manufactured I'm sure President Reagan was not guiltless.

it is a sin, it comes under the scripture of the pride of life

1 John 2
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We are all of the ONE RACE - THE HUMAN RACE

Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Is calling Africans monkeys racist?
OK, regarding private comments about a shameful public display over an international tragedy. Even used in the context of “dancing like monkeys” or “monkey see, monkey do,” I don’t see how someone not of African descent, and especially if non-Dem, could beat the charge in the court of public opinion.

The comments, even if not exactly racist, view them as politically naïve and dangerous (true in the world arena), and associate a particular cultural practice with that ignorance (unlikely correlative). “Cannibals” is another matter.

Not exactly racist. Are they inexactly racist?

That's no excuse to brush off racism

Most politicians were racist until extremely recently. Many still are, they just hide it. I have an extreme degree of Native pride. I see nothing wrong with Black pride or White pride.

You don’t seem to get it, or be able to, or want to, for whatever reason. The point is that everyone is bound to be racist to a slight extent—those screaming the accusation tend to be the most racist by far. They refuse to see or acknowledge the extreme racism and race-baiting they themselves are involved in and perpetrate. Except for exposing their hypocrisy to others, it is useless to have the discussion with such, as they can only emote.

I get it, we should excuse it since all of us are racists.

Not exactly racist, but rather culturally aimed, and true to a large extent (political ignorance, dangerousness, corruption, and shameful display) and untrue to a small extent (being uncomfortable in shoes, though I could be wrong here :Wink).
is this statement racist or not?

I have intelligence that the tape is legit. Your word against mine
I do know that Hank can't tell sources due to classification etc. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Reagan said what is in the tapes. At that time, politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle were racist. Just ask the Democrat Klansmen that were in Congress.
