One example of an issue of singular pronouns is in acts 2, where Peter tells everyone to repent. and directs a command to be baptized to individuals.

In the old english, Ye was plural and You was singular

Hence in the origional KJV we see peter say repent YE (plural) and let every one of you (singular)

I personally use the NKJV, I grew up on KJV.

to this day I still have the one dad bought me. But it is in rough shape. I purchased a new scofield study 3 NKJV about 8 years ago,

I try to use other versions (nasb, esv etc etc. they just read odd to me,, Not that they are bad. I am just used to my favorite word.

My original church background was the Plymouth Brethren. In my time his notes were extolled. But as time marched on I put away childish things.

The older JW NWT used YOU small caps to show plural. The MLV uses a ° or * symbol to show you° is in the plural.

Locally, we just say "y'all".
Back in North Jersey it was "youse" (as in "Youse goin' to Joey's for Pizza after work?")

In his New Testament Bible commentaries William Hendrickson used you to stand for the singular form and y o u for the plural form.
