Why not settle for both. You can Love God and His Angels and Saints.

Why direct any prayer toward angels?
Maybe you can speak from both sides of your mouth but I am not able to frame a request to angels while speaking to my Father.
There is not even a convenience factor in speaking to angels.
I would not recommend directing people to angels in matters pertaining to the Father. There are no matters pertaining strictly to angels and God irrelevant, so it is questionable judgment to elevate them.

Are the words still on the page or are they in your heart, have you understood and realised this reality and lived it?

The angels and saints are with and in God, there is no competition, they are all of the same will.

Where I can not go, I sent them in my stead. My command is by bonds of Love not by power.
Low order legalisers only think in terms of power.
Love has power but does not think in terms of power.

This is the difference between the word and the spirit of the word. The spirit of the word is Love.

When the Bible says “we shall” it means we don’t yet.

That we will inherit with the Son and we wait for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our bodies.

The words you put out are not even on the Page. They are quite contrary to the Page.

Believe me I am no lawyer though you accuse me of it several times.
But you seem to be bothered by my application of the meaning of the Word because it is contrary to what you wish to believe. God does not mince words. He says what is true. So when we read that we will be over angels it means exactly that, not now but in the future.
But deflecting to speak of love doesn’t change our relationship to God with regard to angels.

Each person has different needs and orders different things to requirement.

This is how the Angels take orders from us.

Obstinacy is not a virtue Ben. Angels are our servants and they take our orders.
