    Blah, blah, blah.

You got one thing right--the less you go into detail, the better.

Take a look at a map of Muslim countries

Tell me there are no other places for the refugees to go. Especially in those nations which have similar or the same culture and religion.

We could fund the displacement costs, provide assistance with food and clothing.

How about Saudi Arabia with an EMPTY tent city which can reportedly house 3 million people. OBTW they are refusing to help the refugees.

absolutely......I don't understand why they wouldn't want to integrate to the Muslim communities Vs us or Europe. Ultimately they would probably want to have a halt to their wars in Syria so they could peaceably there in their homeland. However they should have the same opportunity to apply to the USA to emigrate and live here if they make the grade.

"Whether poverty or tyramny"? You now state that poverty is equivalent to tyranny? Isn't that the position of the liberals?

We made our first mistake back in the 80's when we helped put an end to the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. When the Russians pulled out, so did we. We should have poured money into schools and education. Think what you will of me, but we missed a huge opportunity to influence that region with educational materials friendly to democracy and western ideology. Now we face continuing challenges in our own education systems influencing our children towards islam. That threat comes from our own government and millions of people already here -- NOT the refugees being brought here (although they certainly won't help the situation).

I would suggest starting by removing the tyrannical threat; but that OR (and) building *protected* safe zones requires military action, deployment, and long-term commitment--not to mention financial expense.

The opening post had nothing to do with what you just described. The video had nothing to do with what you just described. You've morphed the thread to fit your point.

What?! Is that seriously the only thing you gathered from what I said is that those things are, "equivalence", ...you're totally showing a lack of ability to stay with the point (numbers and solving the problem).

What I've done is back my point in the Op by raising issues and claims which support my argument that it is bad reasoning and dangerous to bring large numbers of people into our country from other countries which are natural enemies to us. Although, I should know by now that sort of reasoning on this board to support your conclusion would be considered a type of argument to be frowned upon...

    On a side note:
Something’s obviously been very wrong and twisted about the paths of leadership and media influences which have guided our nation’s thinking and reasoning when we find ourselves “living in a country where more people show up at the airports to protest scrutinizing the backgrounds of people from nations full of our enemies, than ever showed up, to welcome back our soldiers fighting those enemies”…

Hey, you're the one that said they have equal importance when you said poverty or tyranny. I'm just the one that pointed it out.
Nah; I'm pointing out that when the premise for a video is flawed, instead of acknowledging the flaw, you'll commit a logical fallacy of grouping two distinctly unrelated things in order to continue your argument.

You've attempted to; but you could have done a better job of it by sticking to facts, avoiding egregious analogy errors, providing a solid premise, and refraining from emotionally charged language.

Since you know your logical fallacies better than ITL, please remind us which one this is.

Ladies and gentlemen - in all seriousness, I support this post 100%. It should be re-posted on as many message boards as possible.

We are at the turning point, perhaps we are going to turn the wrong way - left, maybe over the edge.

I don't think so, Hank. The election of Trump was a shock to the left. They've been put on notice that their way of thinking is NOT the majority view. The only thing they can do now is either figure out new ways to subtly introduce Newspeak and indoctrinate us subliminally and our children while they're young; or physically force it on us.

Now it's up to Trump to slam on the brakes, much less change course.

Strange some of you seem indecisive and can't make up your minds - is Bannon commie or fascist?

No wonder the liberals lost the election. Indecisiveness.
