You've proved that before the election you were totally in line with all Trump's policies?

Look again at the numbers. Clinton's tax increase significantly increased revenues. I asked a friend of mine at church Sunday whether "Trickle Down" economics ever worked. He's a fairly conservative Republican and served for a number of years on the Atlanta Fed. So he knows a lot more about this than anyone here for certain. He said absolutely NOT.the numbers show revenue increased when taxes went down. in fact all tax cuts have resulted in higher revenue. deficits have to do with spending and congress, and the dems held congress at that time. Reagan had no choice if he wanted to increase military spending. But it was nothing like the Obama era.
I never supported Trump. He has neither the background nor the ability to be President. Then there's his personality. His policies? Who knew then or now what they really were? He's an habitual liar. You've proved that before the election you were totally in line with all Trump's policies?

Clinton did create two new upper tax brackets, increased the federal gas tax, removed the cap to Medicare taxation, and a couple of other things. But that was it for Clinton "reversing Reagan's policies". In fact, the Republican majority in the House passed a $500 child tax credit in 1995, giving middle class Americans a tax cut.
But to say that Clinton's tax increase on a small minority of Americans was the reason the deficit was reduced is ludicrous. The invention of whole new industries, home desktop computers for one, cell phones for another, and the dot.com economy in general, was the driver of Clinton's economy and the reason for increased receipts.
The reason debt increased under Reagan is because the military needed to be rebuilt and modernized and Democrats in Congress kept blocking spending cuts.

Just look at the numbers. Reagan ran huge deficits. The national debt tripled during his years from $1T to $3T. Clinton reversed policy and decreased the deficits run by Reagan and Bush steadily until he ran a surplus his last 3 years.
That's called Trickle Down Economics or Reaganomics.I thought the question was whether or not tax receipts increased when taxes were cut. Oh well, glad your friend has got an opinion on trickle down economics.

LOOK AT THE NUMBERS PLEASE. This surplus did happen. The so called surplus was only projected and never really came to fruition. Clinton took us into a recession Bush inherited.

Alternate facts. No it didnt; even Clinton ran a deficit.
Alternate facts.
I'm saying you're using alternate facts. I'm right based on the official numbers.Good luck with that
