What do you think causes Revival? Pick a certain day and call it a REVIVAL with Bro. Such and Such? Prayer for Revival can cause it? Something we do too? Thoughts?

We should always be teaching the Word of God. We should always be in prayer. It is not that we are doing something different from what we have been doing that "causes" revival.J. Vernon McGee believed that revival came through teaching the word of God. I have often seen God at work through this manner.
What I've seen best describes a real revival is when the Holy Spirit moves upon the hearts of God's people and they respond to the Spirit's beckoning to get things right with each other. Then sinners see the realness of fellowship and the Spirit has freedom to move in ways not before seen. What do you think causes Revival? Pick a certain day and call it a REVIVAL with Bro. Will there actually be any revivals before Jesus returns? Jesus seemed to express doubt that he would even find faith when he returns:
"However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" Luke 18.8b
It's part of the parable about the unrighteous judge and it is said by the judge, but it seems to be Jesus' point of the parable.
I see more and more churches compromising and getting wishy-washy rather than what most would term a "revival."
That may be your experiences, but the church that had a true revival that I spoke of doesn't fit into the catagory you created. They are one of the strongest in doctrine I know. Will there actually be any revivals before Jesus returns? Jesus seemed to express doubt that he would even find faith when he returns:

Nope, it is still spreading, that is true revival.I'm not really speaking of a 'revival' in a particular church but revival as it applies to Christianity in general.
I think what you described sounds more like a healing or reconciliation rather than revival.
I believe you have just contradicted the sovereignty of God by implicating these conditions for Him to "pour out a revival", then you also make a contradiction to it as well in the followingRevival is the act of a sovereign God. He sends it as He desires to do so. I believe there are certain conditions that favor revival, i.e. prayer, confession of sin, repentance, a renewal of our love for the Word of God, but, we can do all of those things and still not experience revival and we can do none of them and God can pour out revival.
Yet many do when they speak of His sovereignty. Not saying you did.It is solely up to God. Granted, we will have a better chance of experiencing revival when we pray, fast, confess, read and repent, but I don't believe that one can place God in a box.

The KoC can have real revival, while Christendom will never see it.
This is due to Christendom being made up of carnality and entertainment, false doctrines and worldliness.

All of Christianity falls into two catagories: Christendom and The Kingdom of Christ.

Where do the seven churches in Revelation fit?Nope, it is still spreading, that is true revival.
