that's beginning to get complicated too ... NY and LA specifically. But yes, world wide it's been stupid crazy. Crews being sequestered ... even incarcerated to keep 'em in country for 14 days. Crews being suddenly subjected to the tests despite being jabbed ... or tested prior to arrival ... when there'd been exemptions for crews ... due to the nature of the assignment/work schedule.
I guess that's a positive about living in the South East. I guess we just do our own thing. We have lost quite a few people to covid (to include 4 children from our community). But life has gone on.

that's true for much of the nation overall ... but there are pockets. and there are people who have yet to overcome their fear and expect you to be fearful, too. didn't say callous nor cavalier ... but you won't see me wiping the soles of my boots with an antiviral sprayed rag like I saw this week with a crew member in Omaha.

the loss of life is always tragic and I'm sorry to hear about y'all's. Life does go on, so too must we Press ON.

There are crazy people out there. Here it is not common to see people wearing masks in restaurants. We see a few in stores.

Am totally amazed at the blind acceptance of some!!!! When they FINALLY do wake up, it'll be too late!?:Frown:Frown
Many of the comments on this board amaze me at the apparent lack of discernment as to the declining of society & the reasons thereof!!

Never said they did, so if you are worried that having the vax is a health and the company says it is a requirement to work there then you have the right to leave that job and work someplace else. Where is the infringing on your rights.
You people really do not see it do you?

If you mean see it your way through your glasses , well it does not look that way does it. You seem to be a glass half empty type where as I am a glass half full. I try not to look for the negative in everything as some on here are want to do.

I think we see the declining society, but I for one am not chasing every conspiracy theory that comes along.

at risk of seeming 'cheeky'

I'm a "fill 'er up" guy. Why run around with 50% capacity?

As far as the difference in the outlook, the reason is simple; fallen man. Given Matt 7:13-14

13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

destruction/deceit is the natural/default mode.

Don't be a fool. People make choices based on what they trust. If you want to trust the facebook & twitter etc for your information that is your choice.

Each person makes choices that are best for them. You may disagree with that choice but it is their choice. That is what free will is all about, choice then you live with the consequences.

Totally agree!!!!!!!!!
Now if we could get the gov't t accept that belief, then we might see some progress in our society.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.

OK! Just don't be surprised when your "half full" glass is up-ended by some bureaucrat who thinks your glass is offensive cause his is not "half full!"

For your information, I don’t go on Facebook and Twitter. But I have to take my wife to the hospital on a regular basis and talk to employees and nurses who have told me some horror stories about that shot. And that would justify why so many of those employees have opted out of taking it and have been unjustly fired by the administration

Yea, a choice with a gun put to their heads. :Sneaky
Not really. The one holding the gun is the anti-vaxer who demands the right to make emoyment policy or insists he has a right to be employed by an employer.

I may not want to enter an area knowing it will expose me to radiation. But that is my job. My choice is to accompany operators into the area or find a new job.

I choose the later with pay raises. Note 72% of Vermonters have been vaccinated compared to 59% nationally and there are 49% of new daily cases in Vermont. Must remember to cancel my sky vacation …. Perhaps lake Placid or the Poconos.

Plus he signed up knowing full well it could be a dangerous job while someone 20 years + probably there have this COVID vax experiment danger hoisted on them in the work place. Well in the Garden State there are a ton of legal cases to fight the vax movement agenda. We shall see!

until you answered the question it mattered. I've heard folks refer to such triple digit losses ... which included dates before Dec '20 ... by definition they were unvaxed for cv unless they happened to be in that 40K person 3 month test in the summer of '20.

Anyhow. You repeat that rights are being stripped and they're not. Businesses don't have rights. People have rights. I know there's this legal status of corporations and that's some really fringe stuff as far as righteousness goes.

The only way to suggest the business' "right" is superior is to also acknowledge the employee is owned by the business. There are LOTS of restrictions on businesses and bodily autonomy has to remain one of 'em.

I'm sorry for the losses of your colleagues. I'm not sure how that many in one place are experienced. Of the 14K of my colleagues, I think we've lost maybe 5 due to CV ... and all 5 of them were due to the standard (non) treatment.

I've yet to read of a person who was treated with HCQ, Ivermectin, or Budesonide protocols to perish.
Great. If businesses have no rights we can strike down Citizens United and take big money out of politics. Also the Hobby Lobby farce.
