Sigh, the you know the FBI is capable of focusing on more than thing right. With different people in different departments handling countless cases right? Like, surely you don’t think this is just one guy in his office right handling everything.

They didn't, did they? The FBI is crooked. They were working on politics and let the Florida school shooter slide, didn't they?

Yes, the FBI MUCH more interested in chasing down fake news than on following uip reliable news on a soon shooting to come!

You are basing everything off of your own assumptions of what they have, what they know, what direction they are going and again your own personal gut feeling of what their timeline should be.

What experience do you have that dictates when something should or shouldn’t happen in an investigation of this size and scope?

I’m going to remain patient because I feel it is important.

This was an event we became aware of today. That’s it. It isn’t the fruit of the entire investigation or a signaling of anything more than what it is. This isn’t over and this isn’t the final result.
My wife last was involved in a horse rescue investigation that lasted 3 and more years. Now Mueller has an investigation that has complexity to it and in the short term has uncovered the shabby truth that Russians have indeed tampered with our way of life. That’s just one facit in the early stages of the investigation.

Time to have this dog and pony show cancelled!

Give me some indication that this is a dog and pony show. For all intents & purposes, it is disproving Trumps claims of “nothing to see here” and proving that a complete and thorough investigation is imperative.

OH, there is something definite here, just does not inloved the president of his staff, as it much more is to do with how the Hilliary and Dems were trying to get the fix in before the election!
And that president Obama was ordering the DOJ to greenlight whatever those folks wanted for wire taps and such!

Trump derrangement syndrome more like it
I realize that Trump supporters enjoy their condescending diagnosis of "Trump derangement syndrome," but that attitude is quite ironic given the mental leaps and fuzzy thinking required to think that the President is not hiding something and the administration does not lie about all sorts of things.

Any objective observer can see that Mueller (and the press) is uncovering all sorts of things the President claims didn't happen, with several guilty pleas, cooperating witnesses and indictments. Moreover, the President is -- at best -- resisting the investigation, if not actively trying to obstruct it. Quite tellingly, even after being repeatedly informed by security agencies that the Russians interfered in our election process, he has worked hard to deny it outright, to cast doubt upon that assessment, and even mock those who are working hard to uncover the evidence. If he has done a thing to try to prevent interference from happening in the future, he certainly hasn't made that public. Instead, he and his administration have tried to cover up significant ties to Russia in his inner circle, given many different accounts of a meeting that took place in Trump Tower between Russian representatives, and apparently the President crafted one of the cover stories himself. Those are not the actions of an innocent or honest man.

It is not "derangement" to want a full and complete investigation of any foreign interference in our election, and to have all parties - regardless of political affiliation - made accountable for what they have done.

So I’m guessing in your mind the FBI is like an office of five dudes. And one of these dudes was like...wow I should probably push this school thing aside and go get Trump!

I’ll never cease to be amazed at how stupid people will let themselves sound to push a political agenda. This is up there though.

Nothing so far has been tied to President Trump, correct? Been over a year, time to kill it!

The same bunch that investigated the horses could have written up this indictment.

The two sides to the Mueller investigation discussion, condensed.

One side says there is nothing to find; the other side says just wait--the floodgates are going to open. Neither side really knows what leads Mueller is following.

Could be an over-simplification but that's about right - their "side" has to prove it - not interference, but collusion. So far, nothing except a couple of old charges unrelated to collusion and now this. Show me.

Patience is needed...(though I admit I'm running low on it.)

I think the original plan was to drag this out until midterms and maybe hope Mueller was fired and then go for obstruction of justice. Trump didn't take the bait.

Too bad. But I would suggest that it’s Trumps lawyers that are stopping the zero from being impulsive, not Trump that would leap at any provocation to fire Mueller...in fact that has already been proven to be how it’s been played out.

Depends on the meaning of "tied." Many of the people on his campaign staff, as well as his administration have been connected to the Russians. Some have been indicted and others have pled guilty.

The President has also obviously lied about meetings and other connections to the Russians throughout his campaign and presidency.

So by any sane standard, yes. There are plenty of ties between President Trump and the Russians.

Been over a year, time to kill it!
First, you don't know what you are talking about. Mueller was appointed on May 17, 2017. Unless you are living in an alternate reality, then you are absolutely wrong.

Second, as all sorts of people here have pointed out, you don't have any basis of knowing what information has been put together. Mueller doesn't do a public information dump every evening before he goes home. He is conducting an investigation that has been consistently bearing fruit. Looking at the pace of guilty pleas, indictments, and his desire to interview the President, I imagine that this investigation will be nearing its conclusion in the next few months. But I certainly don't know anything for sure and you don't either.

Third, your irrational desire to shut down the investigation makes me think that you are afraid of what is about to be uncovered. I can understand that. I lot of people have damaged relationships and staked their reputations on President Trump. If he is demonstrated to be a con man, a lot of egos will be potentially damaged, and many people believe that the never-Trump people are incapable of grace. When someone is conned by a con man, the person who is guilty is the con man, not the one who has been deceived. But like the best con men, I think President Trump has pushed his supporters into conning themselves (creating an "us against them" narrative and declaring himself to be their only hope) because he knows that it will take more than reason to shake the faith of one who has conned themselves.

Almost nothing in this post is true. Name the obstruction, name what he is hiding. Ya can't do it. Further, with the recent factual revelations that the FBI, the Clinton Campaign, and Obama admin was all engaged in collusion with Russians to stop Trump from winning we know that there is where the "there" is.

Uh, who said the investigation was over?

All indications are that there is a lot more to come.
Right - Mueller and company of friends can spend millions possibly billions more of the citizens taxes and give themselves 6 figure salaries as well for years to come while on the Russian/Trump Nothingburgerinsky wild goose chase.

Mueller is making a thousand dollars an hour according to Cincinnati radio talk show host Bill Cunningham so this investigation will take the rest of Mueller's life.

The FBI is crooked. Do you like crooked cops? They admitted they were responsible for the wrongdoing but Wray did not resign so Trump needs to fire him. Trump is the one who hired him. I thought that you hated Trump.

Got to wonder if they are making another big mistake with their putting everything on Mueller, thinking he will save them from a long Trump administration. They may should think again, these same posters will sit here and tell you you don't know what's going on and that you're blinded by partisanship and in the next breath they tell you what's what and interpret it in the most biased way possible.

So objectivity is out the window all-around - is it with Mueller is the question. They really didn't keep yesterday's indictments out of the news, since it had been know for awhile that Russian used trolls on FB, but it should be kept in mind that it hasn't been just Mueller investigating, the Democrats and most of the MSM has been "helping" as well - Trump campaign could have paid and hired a foreign agent to find and dig up dirt on Hillary using Russian sources you know.
