So why doesn't Move on dot org do the same with the one they got for the betray us ad ? Should the N.Y. Times try and one-up the smartest guy in radio ?

Rush is the man. A lot of folks hate him, but this is brilliant. With all his faults, Rush can still entertain, inform, and support the troops. I love him.

BTW, I need to thank the folks here who never served, but somehow know who is the uniformed servicemen's friend, and who is the chickenhawk. Without them, I just wouldn't know who supports the troops, and who doesn't.

Which side can use the troops to advance their propaganda more side "R" or side "D"? More self aggrandizment at anothers expence. Neither side has any honor imho.

I hope it goes even higher, after all, Rush has to match it  and the money is going to a worthy cause!

To bad the Dems who claim to support the troops will not take Rush's challenge and match it themselves. It was only at 117,300 just this morning.

Senator reid had the audacity to stand on the Senate floor today and take some credit for this fund raiser.

That's sorta like satan taking credit for God's plan of salvation; after all, if satan had not misled Eve (with the ensuing consequences) there may not have been a need for a redemptive salvation!

Now before some of you that are super-spiritual get all uptight, the ONLY point I'm making is that somebody who fouls up then takes credit for any god that may result; even when there was no intention of same!!

So you're calling Sen. Reid Satan, huh?

(Just kidding - I think.)

He made much of the worthy cause the money goes to.

He neglected to mention that Rush was matching it and that he refused to do the same.

He said he was surprised that a few Senators signatures were worth so much. He should be. They're not.

It is the egregious abuse of Senatorial power, signed at that that makes the letter one of a kind.

Reid is to be pitied. He is the most gutless, worthless senate majority leader I can remember.

I pretty much can't stand poor old Rush....primarily for his derision of women (which is probably not in his heart, but does come out of his mouth!), but I must say that in this case, he came out the better person.

This was a classic.

Just as Limbaugh is the most gutless, worthless talk show host I can remember.

You need some memory enhancements? There are a few negative adjectives you can use against Rush, but gutless and worthless are not among them.
