I also heard today of a Ukrainian pilot that has 6 conformed air to air Russian jet kills and they are now calling him, The Ghost of Kyiv.

I think people are underestimating the will of the Ukrainian people to stay free. Not to forget the well organized Ukrainian patriot underground with stinger missiles and anti-tank weapons. They are handing out rifles to the people and there are millions of them swearing to fight to the death against Putin's 190,000.

On a side note I was thinking it is too bad that all those weapons left in Afghanistan weren't offered to Ukraine.

Putin wants to return to previous Soviet Union borders? Maybe he does. What moral high ground do we have to tell him he can't? When the USA gives the entire nation back to my people, you will then have moral high ground to condemn Putin. Of course, that should never happen. We need to stop being idealogues and become realists. In world politics, might makes right. It will be that way until The Prince of Peace sets up His kingdom on Earth.

The Russian economy is quite small, about the size of Italy's, I understand.
Russia cannot sustain all-out war for any length of time and destroyed planes and tanks will be difficult to replace. I think he is hoping that the Ukrainians will surrender quickly. If they don't, he may be in trouble.

Putin has murdered thousands. The U.S has murdered millions of unborn children.

The current U.S Government abhors the usage of God. Russia embraces the usage of God.

The point I believe @Reynolds is making is that those of us in the U.S have lost the moral high ground to call anything "evil". We have a plank in our eye as a nation. The Liberals refuse to call it a plank, and instead call it "diversity" and "women's rights" and "egalitarianism". The Conservatives are still stuck in thinking we are a shining city on a hill, when we've actually sunk into a cesspool of filth and baby murder that needs more evangelism than Africa.

Speaking for myself:
Standing on a pile of dead babies while pointing a finger at Putin and calling him evil is laughable IMO. We are a bunch of hypocrites if we do so. Therefore I cannot call Russia as any more evil than the U.S. I can disagree with Putin's actions

If the U.S chooses to stop murdering babies and embraces God again THEN we have at least comparable moral ground to Russia. As it stands, we have no moral capital any longer, and to pretend otherwise is lying IMO.

Wonderful. I hear many tribes have opened casinos for revenue generation. Not that I approve of gambling, but I was thinking that as US citizens they could buy as much land as they could afford.
