Are you saying that following the teachings of Christ are works?

Yes. What would you call them ?

Are you saying that as Christians we can just ignore the teachings of Christ?

I am saying they do not save. Surely even you can understand this. You cannot add to my statement and have an honest, rational debate.

Getting back on track again. CTB take your complaints to the thread Is the Unborn Child Alive

Wasting a total of 2.5 hours jawing with Putin Obama shows that Putin doesn't respect flexibility. It would never occur to a leftist that the Russians only respects power. We saw the same old story during the cold war. The leftists in this country continually pushed unilateral disarmament. When Reagan became president he rebuilt the military, restored American self esteem, and when he proposed the Strategic Defense Initiative, which the leftists spoofed as Star Wars, the Soviet Union caved. Now after only 5 years of Obama and his rape of the Military the Russians are pushing borders again!.

Putin brushes aside Obama's warnings as US moves to counter Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin defended the country's moves in Ukraine as being consistent with international law during a phone call with President Obama, escalating a high-stakes standoff over Moscow's military incursion into Crimea.

President Obama and Putin spoke for an hour by phone Thursday as the administration moved on several fronts to counter Russia's aggression in the Crimean peninsula.

A statement published on the Kremlin website early Friday said that during the call, Vladimir Putin condemned the newly formed Kiev government as the result of an "anti-constitutional coup" and said Russia was "unable to ignore" requests for protection from the region.

Putin stressed the importance of Russian-American relations, and said he hoped they would not become "a victim of disagreement" on certain issues.

The White House said Obama emphasized to Putin that "Russia's actions are in violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, which has led us to take several steps in response in coordination with our European partners."

Yes. What would you call them ?

I would say it shows you actually accept Christ as your lord and savior as you are willing to really follow him in your beliefs, actions and deeds. Why did he give his teachings if he did not believe that people should follow them?

I am saying they do not save. Surely even you can understand this. You cannot add to my statement and have an honest, rational debate.

I agree they alone do not save, but they show if you really have any real faith and commitment to Christ. How can a person say they believe if they are unwilling to follow Christ's teachings?

Are you saying it is fine to say "I believe in Christ, but that does not mean I have to change my behavior? I can do anything I like because I believe?"

You seem to be saying that Christ's teaching are meaningless and should not influence the way we conduct our lives. Is this right?hat

Do the teachings of Christ have any impact on the way you live your life?

Completely dishonest and irrational. Nowhere have I said we don't follow the teachings of Christ. I am saying they don't save. Stop trying to twist it into something else.

Actually, they don't. You can do good works all your life and still wind up in hell.

Are you saying it is fine to say "I believe in Christ, but that does not mean I have to change my behavior? I can do anything I like because I believe?"

I have not said this, and no rational, honest person would say that I did.

Completely dishonest and irrational. Only somebody ignoring my words, and twisting them around could come up with that. Why are you so dishonest ?

Do the teachings of Christ have any impact on the way you live your life?

What if I said yes ? Would you believe me ?

I don't care to run my faith by you, to see if it meets your approval.

So, how do you apply the teachings of Christ to your life?

Two useless democrats:

Obama, Biden stick to vacation schedules despite Ukraine crisis

The White House brushed off concerns Friday that, with the crisis in Crimea intensifying, now might not be the best time for President Obama -- and his vice president -- to go on vacation.

The travel schedules of both the president and Vice President Biden have come under scrutiny, given the rapidly changing situation in Ukraine. Obama, already in Florida to talk about education, was planning to spend some family time this weekend in Key Largo, Fla., where he arrived late in the day. Biden, meanwhile, will be in the Virgin Islands.

Despite some apparent discussion over cutting the president's trip short, White House spokesman Josh Earnest indicated the president would be able to handle the crisis from out of the office.

"The president over the course of a very busy week has maintained his schedule and his ability to monitor ongoing events in Ukraine. I would anticipate that he'll do the same thing this weekend," Earnest said. "And the fact of the matter is what the president is doing this weekend in Florida is essentially what the president will be doing if he stayed back at the White House. It's just that the weather will be a little warmer."

He said Obama plans to spend time with his wife and daughters while in the Keys. "There are some recreational amenities on the property, including workout facilities, tennis courts, a couple of golf courses," he noted.

What ? Is this to submit for approval ?

Not judging at all. You are the one who criticizes me when I mention Jesus as a teacher. Then you say that following his teachings results in works ... which you indicate you do not like. So, I was simply wondering, how do the teachings of Jesus play into your daily life?

You are telling a lie. Nowhere have I said I do not like works. Please stop lying about the people you disagree with. If you want to enter a discussion about how I live my life, stop the lies.

Hey Roger, C.T.Boy is lying. So naturally, you will give me the demerit points. I made it easy for you by reporting my own post.

And you support the GOP?

If so, despite 40 years of the abomination, no GOP president or congress or Supreme Court has done anything substantial to stop the killing of children. Both parties are complicate in this travesty.

This is completely false. If you are going to speak on a subject you might better know what you are talking about. In fact the opposite is what the truth is. What you have said here is nothing more than DNC talking points.

C4K used the modifier have not done "anything substantial" in describing changes made to abolish abortion. While the GOP has tried to do things and has made some progress, I reluctantly have to agree with him. Now back to the OP, please.

Oh my, now that you have been caught out again you revert to your favorite attack.

You attacked the idea that we should follow the lessons Christ taught saying this demotes him. Numerous times when I have pointed out a teaching of Christ, like feed the hungry, care for the poor, visit those in jail, you go off in anger. So, again how do you apply Christ's teachings to your life?

OK, I'll wait for more of your hyperbolic irrational attacks as you cannot answer questions and refuse to discuss rationally.

Have you see what's going on in Texas ? Abortion clinics are closing by the dozens. It is truly a ray of hope.
