Satan's Signs and Wonders

I cannot find exactly what miracles (signs and lying wonders) Satan will do in the end times. I may never.

People who are not fully convinced about miracles operating today, often presume it will be healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers, casting out demons, copying what Jesus did. I understand this viewpoint because Satan copied a few miracles Moses did.

But Jesus said Satan will not make his own house fall: If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

All sickness, disease, and demon possession comes from Satan, because of the fall. God did not put sickness on man in this age of grace.
Satan will cast out his own devils? Jesus says no.
Satan will heal the sickness he put in place? Jesus says no.

These signs and wonders that Satan will do might be amazing and fool many, but they will not be the ones Jesus does.
Satan came to kill, steal, and destroy, not give life and life more abundantly.

I am still studying this for exactly what signs Satan will do, by first establishing what I believe he cannot do.

This verse does not describe what the "signs and lying wonders" are, and it does not say they are copies of the signs and wonders Jesus did.

The terms "signs and lying wonders" could mean anything in 2 Thes.

"Signs and lying wonders" has no definition to compare with the "signs and wonders" that are associated with Christ.

The many references to the "signs and wonders" by Jesus and His followers are plainly described as healing, casting out devils, protection from poison, raising the dead, etc.

These signs and wonders that Jesus did cannot be reproduced by Satan:

Matt 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Healing the sick, raising the dead, making the blind see, turning a soul to Jesus is good fruit.

Satan is a corrupt tree and cannot produce good fruit, he can only produce bad fruit.

To say that these two uses of "signs and wonders" are the same, is a presumption with no fact. With no definition in 2 Thes. you can only guess.

Satan cannot produce the same works,fruit, or signs and wonders that Jesus did.

The only comparison of the two is the word "signs" and the word "wonders".

Yes sir I looked at that. The miracles done were not the "good fruit" type that helped people. They were more of a judgement type to show Pharaoh. It was also not the age of grace. Really has no comparison to "signs and wonders" of the New Covenant. Thanks for the input though.

It also describes the miracles as being copied, which 2 thes. does not, Satan cannot copy those according to scripture,

The fall caused Sin to enter into Earth and this Creation, so as a result, we have death/disease/wars/famines etc NOT that the Devil did that, we brought it upon ourselnes, and the earth not reacts as it does due to being under the curse of God!

satan cannot affect the saved without God permitting it, so how can He cause disease upon us?

Also, Jesus warned us against false messiahs/christs doing miracles/signs/wonders, as will the false prophet!

Jesus is God speaking, and during his time here on earth, satan was rising up against Him, so his statements were true, but we cannot blindly accept all healings and miracles today as being from God, as jesus warned us about Him getting really active again big time, right before Second Coming!

the Beast will be healed/raised up from a fatal head wound, and the false prophet will do MIRACLES that will delude the whole earth not saved to worship the beast!


And you seem to attribute all sickness/illness/disease to satan, so why couldn't he remove what he placed there, in your theology, how would you know?
