They are fully Accredited in both the USA and Europe:
International Recognition of SATS Qualifications
Both the International Education Research Foundation, Inc. (www.ierf.org) and American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers’ International Education Services (http://ies.aacrao.org) have rated the SATS Masters and PhD programmes as representing the attainment of a level of education comparable to the same degree in theology from a regionally accredited university in the United States. Whilst in Germany and Switzerland our qualifications are also recognised: see our listing on the respected German site: www.anabin.kmk.org
Per the MTh, the AACRAO evaluation states: The master’s degree from the South African Theological Seminary represents attainment of a level of education comparable to a master’s degree in theology from a regionally accredited university in the United States.
SATS for a PhD? I don't know what SATS are in America, but here, they are Standard Assessment Tests given to schoolchildren in Years 2, 6 and 9 (approximate ages: 7, 11 and 14 respectively).
