Looking back the man was spot on in his foreign policy insights. He was either good or had surrounded himself with good people. Either way, I think Romney would be good for America,

What are your thoughts?

Didn't work before, won't work now.

He's the wrong kind of candidate to run in any major election. By wrong I mean: a rich, white oligarch who grew his company largely through takeovers and mergers that resulted in families losing their means of livelihood. His Mormon beliefs are troubling enough, but his inability to connect with the electorate led to his ultimate dismissal from realistic higher office.

The RNC would be nuts to support him and be committing generational suicide to nominate him. He's a has been in the party.

Romney is a decent, kind and successful businessman. And we know that Islam and Hinduism look down on businessmen as lower class.

However, he is not a good politician because he did not attack the Democrat foreign policy when he had the chance.

Romney's biggest handicap is his membership in a religious cult.

Apparently when it comes to politics and winning, that old religious cult , rejects Jesus Christ thing just ain't that big a deal with evangelical Christians.

This was a work of art!!! I need to make it my siggy. It just succinctly captures everything that needs to be said about this thread.

We need to be able to give reputation points. This was worth a million.

Not a real Romney fan, but I'm surprised at how right he was on so many things.

I'm also surprised that he now thinks Obama is worse than he thought he would be. He should have known better.

The Democrats would love it if Romney ran again.

They would. The GOP would be making a huge mistake putting Romney out there again. They stand ready to retake the Senate majority and could possibly retake the White House. Romney would be the death knell.

1) Who would you prefer?
2) What Republican could you see regaining the White House?

Numbers 1 and 2 may not be the same person.

They'll take the senate, strengthen the house, but the next POTUS will be a democrat, I think. The GOP can't find anyone who can win. Unless the dems run Liz Warren. I don't think they're that stupid.

 Certainly possible. I don't have the answer but history has kind of shown us that quite frankly, it's the GOP's turn.

My own hunch is that unless Obama and Hillary join hands and go super jingo warcrazy in Iraq the GOP should be able to slide in with the next President. Just not Palin. Please.

I think Romney will be the nominee despite his disclaimers. But more importantly --the next President.

It won't be her.

Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, Bobby Jhindal, I can see any of the three of those getting nominated.
