Maybe not on tv. But I see them sitting on this board and in the pews every week with hate( because it certainly ain't love) towards their brothers and sisters in Christ. And they don't seem to have a problem with that murder. they won't even acknowledge the hate.
You haven't a single time addressed the tacit approval of the church for gossips and gluttons and immodest dressers. It's definitely not harped upon like abortion and homosexuality yet folks in the church have persisted in these sins after being saved as though nothing ever happened.
Are YOU addressing them?

You don't see anywhere in Scripture where God says He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of just homosexuality. So you can save that false teaching and tell folks what Scripture REALLY says.
true, we don't see rape and murder same levels as speeding 5 over the limit, why would God?
God agreed to spare Sodom, did he not?

Sure did.:thumbsup: And He didn't say anything about sparing them if there were no homosexual offenders or abortionists present. But this again highlights a problem with the people in the church that we even attempt to teach people that the primary reason that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah is the homosexual offense when Scripture says no such thing.
It is a wicked manipulation in order to win a political argument.

Unfortunately I know it all to well. My father is a Baptist pastor.
I told him I felt God would have me serve at a different church in our area. Instead of getting his blessing... I got lectured on how the pastor of this church wasn't doing things right, how he had been wronged by this pastor. This was all news to me.
I told him if he was going to tell me all this, he had better get this pastor on the phone instead of gossiping about him, and we can all settle this together. He declined, and said he had already spoken with him.
These pastors do not care about anything but appearances. The Bible does not give him clearance to gossip about other pastors EVER!!!
Don't tell me that gossip isn't dangerous inside the church. You have pastors spreading rumors about pastors. You have the whole congregation following their lead.

So true. It's an epidemic within the church and we're all guilty. But it, like so many of the other things that we in the church do, gets excused and overlooked while we're championing our pet sins in the media and looking every bit as hateful as they think we are in the process.

God judged them foe being sodomites, for Lot even offerred up to them his virgin daughters instead of gang raping the angels die to them being male, so that shows how how God thought about it!
is it being hateful, or obeying God, to tell people that God hates abortion and homosexual life styles, and that He wants to deliver them out of it, not save them to stay in it?

There is nowhere in Scripture that God says He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of just their sexual sin, either heterosexual or homosexual.

they lusted after 'strange fles", were sodomites, were despising natural affections of women for own sex...
How can you say that God did not judge them for their perverse/wicked lifestyles, and ended up destroying them?

Does your bible evn contain the parts where paul comdemned those who practice a habitual/commited homosexual lifestyle, or out of needing to prach the gospel of love, have you ripped out certain passages in Romans?

JUST as God judged the angels who left their estate and went after 'strange flesh', likewise, he judged those whose pervsersion was to go after 'starnge flesh"...
God judged and condemned sodomites, period, do you think he should have done that?
the bible states they were judged and condemned for their sexual perversions, their sodomizing and other lurid things...
Do you have a problem with the lord doing that, was he not showing love of Jesus when he did that?

You STILL have not shown us where Scripture says God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah just because of the homosexual offense.
But that is consistent with not really caring about people's eternity and just being concerned about a pet issue.
