Ok, I disagree but can see how you could come up with your answer too by going to the Greek. I can go to the Greek and come up with not drinking also. So you drink and I will abstain.No, I don't agree. The "not" totally negates SOMETHING. The question is, what does it totally negate? It totally negates getting drunk. That's what the words say. It doesn't matter how strong you make "not". It doesn't change the meaning of "drunken".
