Snow? Wot is that? It is all but gone now, even in the woods. It is quite mild to-day, even to reach 14c to-day.

By the way, good to see you posting. Keep looking up.

Cheers,

Question for you scholars:

Why do they keep moving Nineveh around? How many times has this town been shifted around? It was moved several times before we are even introduced to it in the book of Jonah.

Sherrie,

I had both boys dressed and ready for school and daycare when I looked outside and saw HUGE snowflakes falling. I quickly made them take off the light rain jackets I had given them and had to find their heavier coats. I guess maybe I should watch the weather occationally so I won't be surprised like that. I thought we had got rid of the snow, at least until around November. It is mixed with rain and too warm for it to hang around at least.

I was watching the basketball games last night. Oklahoma doesn't play until tonight, but I couldn't miss the Duke/Kansas game. I am just glad they didn't postpone the NCAA Tournament like some people wanted. After watching constant war coverage several days in a row it is good to have something to take your mind off of it for a while.

Hey Rod,,that was a great game between Duke and Kansas...I was rooting for Duke, but not disappointed at the winner......Looking forward to the Syracuse game tonight...Hope they continue to move along.

Cheers,

Jim

That was a great game. I have never been a Duke fan so I was glad Kansas won it, but Duke almost pulled off the upset. If J.J. Redick hadn't struggled shooting the ball, Duke would have won easily. I have watched several Duke games this year and I don't remember Redick ever missing that many shots. He can usually score from anywhere across the half court line.

would value your prayers tonight. Have a meeting to establish a support network for the local people who have relatives in the gulf. Please pray that we would have a positive and practical presentation of Gods love. The time of the meeting is 7pm our time. Thats 2pm eastern american time

yours, Jon.

All I know is I missed the TV show "Star Search", and "Ed", last week. You guys had basketball all week. My turn!

Blackbird...I have always been taught, up until April 15 you can expect a frost. So I always wait for April 15th. I might be late, but I have them longer and they don't freeze. I love those tomatoes. Don't you check with the Farmers Almenac? Shame...shame.

All I know is Rod...I have looked a long time for this spring. You keep that snow in Siloam Springs!

Sherrie, the trees are really pretty here also. We have 2 Bradford pear trees, one in the front yard and one in the back yard. They are both covered with white blooms right now. I hope this cold weather doesn't knock them all off.

I also noticed the weeds are now growing in the yard, so pretty soon I will have to mow and spread weed killer/lawn fertillizer. The pollen in the air is my primary complaint right now. I have to make sure to take my allergy medication for the next few weeks.

You've heard those sermons on names written in the Lamb's Book of Life??? How that the person asks the Lord Jesus something like, "Oh, please! Lord! Check one more time!! My name has got to be in there!! Just can you check one more time!!"

Well, that's the way I feel about that frost comin'!!!! Sister Sherrie!!!! I know you ain't Jesus----but could you check just one more time!!! The forecast might've changed since the last time!!! Just one more time!!!

Blackbird

JonMagee--I'll pray for those men on that Expeditionary force--God bless their hearts and the hearts of their families!!

The pear trees have all lost their blossoms already here.... but lots of other things blooming! I'm with you Blackbird! I don't even want to think about the 'final frost' we're expecting this weekend! I wanted pretty weather on Sunday so we could be OUTSIDE!

Hey Blackbird... bring that tractor to my backyard and help me get some grass to grow in this blasted red clay under all these trees!

Sherrie, isn't spring just the most wonderful season! New Life! Praise the Lord!

love to you all,
(Feeling GREAT and eating like a horse!)
