I think you are confusing Calvinism with Hyper-calvinism. It is absolutely necessary for men and women to repent and believe in order to be saved.
The default position of all men, Jew and Gentile, is not to believe (John 3:19; Romans 3:10-11; 1 Corinthians 1:23-24; 2:14; Titus 3:3-6). It is when God does a monergistic work on the heart of the sinner that he freely comes to Christ. 'Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power' (Psalms 110:3). God calls His elect people and they respond (John 10:27)..
It is the good pleasure of God. "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Yes, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight" (Matthew 11:25-26).
You misunderstand the term 'Respecter of persons.' It means that God does not have regard to people's wealth, position, good looks or anything else (1 Samuel 16:7; 1 Corinthians 1:26-28; James 2:5).
The whole world is chosen in respect of every nation, tribe, people and tongue (Revelation 7:9), but you know that all the people in the world will not be saved, and that is not the meaning of the text. You limit the atonement just as much as I do. The 'Great crowd' of Rev 7 does not get bigger or smaller if one is Calvinist or Arminian. And the majority of great preachers have been Calvinist: Latimer, Bunyan, Whitefield, Spurgeon, along with the greatest missionaries: Brainard, Carey, Judson, Paton. They believed the words of the Lord Jesus: "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Therefore go........." I shall be preaching this coming Lord's Day knowing that there are several unsaved people in our little congregation. Therefore I shall be praying that the Lord will use my poor words to open the hearts of these poor people. If I thought that it was all down to me and God was just looking on, it would terrify me.

And many Calvinists get riled up about the "I". They think it should be an "E".

God's not a sore loser. Hell is like where Judas went to, "his own place". He chose that place apart from God, not vice versa.
