Of course they did. Judges, including Supreme Court nominees, have to be confirmed. That's why I made sure to vote Republican everywhere else.

Republicans confirming HILLARY'S picks, right? Hillary's picks.

The issue of basic competence

Trump seems competent to me, especially at trying to keep the promises he made, you know, the ones that got him elected.

Candidate Trump refused to make his tax information available

And he got elected regardless.

his subservient posture toward Putin

Methinks you're reading what you want into 'his posture'.

I suspect that indictments are going to come rather quickly now

Of who? Trump? His family?

I will point out that the denial of a hearing on Merrick Garland was wrong

I thought it ingenious of Mitch.

FBI agent Peter Strzok assured his mistress and colleague Lisa Page that they would stop Donald Trump from winning the presidency in a text message, a new report from the DOJ inspector general finds per Bloomberg News White House Correspondent Jennifer Jacobs.

“Several FBI employees Who played critical roles in the investigation sent political messages,” the report reads, according to Jacobs.

“(Trump’s) not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page wrote to Strzok, Bloomberg reports.

“No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it,” Strzok reportedly replied.

STRZOK: ‘We’ll Stop’ Trump Presidency
Strzok obviously mis-spoke.
What he meant to say was, " I see no reason why Trump wouldn't not never ever not become President." :D

Republicans holding Hillary Clinton accountable so that we would get more moderate judges.

So Mexico is paying for that wall that hasn't been built?

We have a cheap healthcare plan that covers everyone?

We have had the very best people in the President's cabinet and as the heads of agencies?

Sorry, don't see it.

And he got elected regardless.
Yes, it was quite close, but he was elected with Russia's attempt to help. I'm not making a claim that Russia managed to push him to victory, but I do know that this forum reproduced (and still reproduces) Russian propaganda efforts as fact -- the #walkaway meme was the latest obvious example that I've seen.

Methinks you're reading what you want into 'his posture'.
I'm talking about his words, the way he has consistently refused to hold Putin accountable for cyber-attacks on our elections and our nation.

Of who? Trump? His family?
Possibly, but I imagine the next ones to be indicted with be the American accomplices referenced in the recent hacking indictment of the 12 Russian intelligence officers. Roger Stone is obviously one of them.

I thought it ingenious of Mitch.
It might be "ingenious," but it is a corruption of our democracy. It only further destroys the ability to work together as a nation. It is obvious now that McConnell is a blatant partisan hypocrite. Why should I believe he and the Republican Party have any concern with the "rule of law" and noble ideals? It's clear that they don't. If one is a Christian, you cannot approve of intentional hypocrisy.

If you feel that way, you must have not voted for either President Obama or Hillary, as both were hypocrites!

I voted against Trump, not for Clinton.. Hillary Clinton was the only competent candidate out there who could stop him. That was about the only way I could even vote for a Clinton.
So you decided to votae against one who would ahve SC judges more conservative, try to end abortion, would stop isis, try to get economy back on track, and would vote for someone whose main claim was she was there when we had citizens killed at our embassy?

Just some of Trumps accomplishments

• Appointed Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and more than 75 other constitutionally sound federal judges, 30 of which are serving.

• Reinstated an expanded Mexico City Policy blocking foreign aid from being used for abortions.

• Cracked down on illegal immigration and “sanctuary cities.” As Attorney General Jeff Sessions put it: “The lawlessness, the abdication of the duty to enforce our laws, and the catch and release policies of the past are over.”

• Issued an order killing two federal regulations for every new one. In actuality, 16 were cut for every new one in his first year, saving billions.

• Engineered a historic tax cut that will save money for more than 80 percent of American households.

Trump signed a law allowing states to move against sex-ad Internet sites, and the Justice Department on April 6 seized and shut down Backpage.com, which carried ads for prostitution, including trafficked children.

• Overhauled the mismanaged Veterans Administration and giving veterans more health care choices.

• Replaced Obamacare incrementally, beginning with a repeal of the individual mandate.

• Imposed sanctions on Venezuela’s socialist dictatorship and revising Mr. Obama’s deals with communist Cuba.

• Recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and repairing damage that Mr. Obama did to the U.S.-Israel relationship.

• Worked with Central American nations to crack down on MS-13 gangs.

You honestly believe she would choose CONSTITUTIONAL judges? You know, judges that follow the law, not make the law.

FYI, I was 100% for Robert Bork. What a shame what they did to that man, and what a shame the Republicans did not fight for him. They abandoned him to the wolves.

So Mexico is paying for that wall that hasn't been built?

It's still early.

We have a cheap healthcare plan that covers everyone?

It’s still early. His own party let him down for any real reform there.

We have had the very best people in the President's cabinet and as the heads of agencies?

I’m satisfied with most of his picks.

Russian propaganda efforts as fact -- the #walkaway meme was the latest obvious example that I've seen.

Yea, that’s the latest Dim strategy, to claim that is the Ruskies doing that. If the ‘blue wave’ fails to give the Dims the House that’ll be the reason, the Russians did it.

It’s still early. I think the movement is bona fide.

he has consistently refused to hold Putin accountable for cyber-attacks on our elections and our nation.

BREAKING: Forget Russia, FBI Director says China is 'the broadest, most significant' threat to the US and its espionage is active in all 50 states

Trump has warned about China from day one.

Possibly, but I imagine the next ones to be indicted with be the American accomplices referenced in the recent hacking indictment of the 12 Russian intelligence officers. Roger Stone is obviously one of them.

Roger Stone will be indicted? I’ll have to see that to believe it.

I see it differently. He possibly saved us from going over the socialist precipice with this action. And besides, he did nothing the crooked hypocritical Dims haven’t done.

Please work on your reading comprehension. I don’t approve of either Clinton, Obama, or Trump. The word “approve” is quite important.

FOr the record, I did not vote for Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, or Donald Trump as President.
