Good point! Liberals will not be able to stand against polygamy when the case comes before the court, as it will soon, because the court has already conceded that polygamy is the next logical step.

The USA is the most pro-s0d0my nation in the history of the world since the time of Abraham.

We now need two constitutional amendments. The first to protect the life of the unborn child and outlaw abortion and the second to protect marriage as one man and one woman only.

The Democrat Party, the party of slaveholders, is now the party of abortion and ssm.

The case was decided by the SCOTUS. What does that have to do with the Democrat Party? Five of the Justices are GOP Appointees.

This is a great victory for the Democrat Party, which has a history of being the party of the slaveholders and of Jim Crow and the KKK and of the abortionists. This great victory for the Democrat Party was shown by the rainbow-flag spotlights on the White House, once aloof from such partisanship but now trumpeting the message that s0d0my is normal.

:applause::applause: Again, American Dream excellent post. How anybody can look at this stuff and support it or pretend like it doesn't mean anything, when it's exactly what Christians have done repeatedly in the past completely dumbfounds me.

Yet everything that's taking place, everything that's repeating itself again and again, we pretend like it's not happening or it's not that bad.

And you just cannot reconcile this type of wickedness with Scripture. And I've said repeatedly that the world is watching. It is a detriment to the cause of Christ because it takes away our ability to witness around the world after they've seen how The CHURCH responds to these things in the US.

If we don't give a flying crap about the folks we see everyday, why is anyone around the world think we give a hoot about them when we show up with our words when our actions are so still fixed in their minds?

IMHO Zaac is to busy worshiping himself to serve Christ.

It's the law of the land. All we can do is get used to it and pray and share God's word with people.

The American people might pass a constitutional amendment defining marriage as one man and one woman only.

It is just a question of time until the court will have to legalize polygamy.

----- This is a sad day for America. I know 37 states already engaged in this, but Kentucky was one of the holdouts, ------

But how many of those 37 states had the "privilege" of having liberal judges declare the people's majority vote, to keep marriage "one man - one woman", null and void??

(So much for "government of the people, by the people and for the people".) :BangHead:

1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

It's a stunning loss for the GOP which is currently the party of James Crow, The KKK, domestic terrorists, and all things absent love. This stunning loss for the GOP was shown with followers of the FOX mother ship crying in the streets.

What goes on in this country does not affect my faith in any way. It's mine, given to me by Jesus and absolutely no worldly devices have the power to take this away. You'll have to be a little more specific.

I'm willing to listen to what points you may have that go to the contrary but so far you just keep saying the same thing while insulting my intelligence.

Not meaning to insult your intelligence. Have you read anything of Anabaptist history? My point is made therein.

To me it was a surprise. I was surprised that a justice Kennedy that leas the other four who made this decision was appointed by a Republican. I am also surprised that over half of Republican Congress people either thought it would come down this way or supported it come down this way. What a disgusting party. I would expect it from Democrats.

So now, the Kentucky Constitution defines marriage between a man and a woman. So we the people are forced to take out that amendment based on nine bozos of the SCUSA. This is a sad day for America. I know 37 states already engaged in this, but Kentucky was one of the holdouts, now we must been to the ruling of nine people. To me, this is not a saved or not saved issues. I found this sickening long before I was saved.

Our nation is in trouble, and ask everyone to pray for mercy from the Lord. I doubt any Baptist pastor will engage. Comments from others appreciated. I am very angry. I have been very adamant about getting rid of this and abortion.

You are correct.

Well I just realized another unintended consequences to this ruling. Concealed weapons permits should now be recognized in all 50 states. Of course the 2nd amendment already does that but a little reminder is always helpful.

Not terribly familiar with it which is possibly why we have a disconnect here. If we are at a theological impasse then I can certainly respect that.

Good video.

If there is nothing new under the sun, can we assume that marriage has been challenged like this before? And perhaps in some culture, there was same sex "marriage" ?

I have not been able to find any culture that had same sex marriage equal to heterosexual marriage. I believe historically, marriage was held for hetero couples and homosexual relationships were separate and different.

From what I'm finding, it was pretty common in ancient Greece and Rome and Mesopotamia and parts of China.

That is a very good point. But we see that the Supreme Court can be very arbitrary as to which state's rights they are willing to overrule. For the moment they seem to be focused on cultural issues.

Well, I just believe that there's a lot that can affect our faith -- things that are not in our control.

Anyway, I never meant to offend you, so if I did, I am sorry for that.
