Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordered members of the Texas National Guard to return from Washington, D.C. after U.S. Capitol Police forced thousands of soldiers to sleep and rest in a parking garage.

“I have instructed General Norris to order the return of the Texas National Guard to our state,” Abbott wrote on Twitter on Thursday night.

On Thursday, U.S. Capitol Police officials kicked thousands of guardsmen out of the federal buildings where they had been resting and relegated to parking garages.

“You know, I was thinking, the [National] Guard is 90 some odd percent I believe male, only about 20 percent of white males voted for Biden. You got to figure that in the Guard which is predominately more conservative, that I see that on my social media and we know it,” Cohen said on CNN. “There’s probably not more than 25 percent of the people that are there protecting us who voted for Biden. The other 75 percent are in the class that would be the large class of folks who might want to do something.”​

The Dems are an utter disgrace to the nation. They have no respect, yet expect it from others. They are rank hypocrites. Isn’t Cohen the stuntman who ate fried chicken when Barr didn’t appear? Yep. He is an absolute racist, an all too typical Dem.

well, it must be nice to have a sane governor. Inslee deployed them to the capitol but wouldn't for the riots in Seattle, which are still going on and in Portland as well:

400 members of Washington state National Guard called to D.C. to boost security during President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration

so this shows you what the priorities are - forget small business owners, let's go protect corrupt politicians instead. Photo-op from hell:

All of it was a show of military power for democrat leaders, they were saying we are in control of this Banana Republic. The Soviets also would have military parades same as North Korea, to demonstrate their power. I suppose democrats could have ordered a military parade down the streets of the capital what a sight that would be.

And for those of us who detest Biden and Harris in the admin, we should keep in mind that Nancy is just second from the left. Never say it couldn’t be worse.

Well, speaking as someone who spent plenty of time in Wildflecken, Baumholder, Graf - as well as Alaska - as many NG who were there when they were on Active Duty - we would consider being in a parking garage as a vast improvement.

As military personnel - we can take it - we accomplish the mission.
