Sin originates from within in the same way faith does.

Think about what you are saying. Faith doesn't orginate from within...but sin does? How can we be held accountable for sin, but not having faith in Christ? The problem your theology arrives at is God desiring sin, as npetreley believes.

This is not about what I said, it is about what you said. You said that because God made you, faith came from Him, as if He made you with faith inside you. Using that same line of reasoning, sin comes from God too. Its your reasoning, not mine. This is not about what npet believes, this is about your reasoning web.

I didn't ask if you had tried to interact with John. I asked if you had in fact talked with John. You replied that you tried, but only got to talk with his assistant. I've pointed out that it should not be that hard to talk with John, and that something is wrong here.
If you want to violate the rules of this BB and call me a liar, so be it. You are the one who is in sin, as you have violated the rules that you agreed to when you joined this BB.

Seriously, RB...you called out his intentions first (sell books, etc). I would consider that questioning his integrity. He told you he tried contacting JM..why not just leave it at that? Could it be possible JM doesn't want to debate his position? It doen't mean Lou has been dishonest about contacting him in the least.

God has created every human being with the ability and intentions of using faith. It's the object of that faith that saves, not the faith itself. Faith comes from within man...which God designed. Sin also comes from within man...which God designed. He is not held accountable for either, WE are.

No, I am not. I am saying there are some unknown reasons that John is not talking to Lou. Has Lou offended John? Has there been miscommunication? etc.

Why are they of their father the devil? Scritpure tells us because they loved the darkness rather than the light...not they were not created with the ability to have faith in Christ.
