And in my opinion that is the ultimate folly. EVERYBODY believes in Limited Atonement. They just disagree how they limit it.I am not so strict with that rule. If a person can't wrap his head around Limited atonement but still calls himself a Calvinist, I'm not going to object.
He has a profession of faith. Why do you even try with him.
Another post that proves you have absolutely no understanding of what spiritual death is.
You my friend are an idealist. BTW, 1ST Baptist in Newton NJ finally got a permanent pastor (who is a Calvinist) ie God is good. The solid efforts of Pastor Al Martin still reverberate through the land...perhaps the HS has not abandoned us. We shall see! Pray hard my brother. He has a profession of faith.
He believes he has truth in what he posts
I believe he has some defective ideas so I offer correction.
I would like for him to present his scriptural case.....in working through it one of us, sometimes both might discover a more God glorifying position.

Most limit it to believers only.
Only a tiny percent are true universalists, thinking even the demons and the devil will be saved.
I don't think you understood my post.In order for there to be a "well-meant offer", which some moderate Calvinists believe is the case, there must be something behind that offer (they would argue). Being a 4-pointer does not make one a Universalist. There is a position of hypothetical universalism, which may be wrong, but I think that, "ultimate folly" is a bit over the top, Tom.
Terms like that need to be reserved for semi-Pelagians, wouldn't you say?
