The Best cup of Coffee

I am not sure. There are several coffee shops in that area. There is a really neat little coffee shop just below the Charles Bridge on the Malostranka side that is the only smoke free coffee shop in Prague.
I have yet to have a bad cup of coffee here.

If I must go out to get coffee I go to Starbucks. If I want donuts an coffee...Dunkin is my preference.
My preference is my own. I go out an buy raw beans from a couple of places (mostly on the internet) and have them shipped to my home. I then use my home roaster to roast the beans and then brew in either my press or in a good coffee machine.
If you've never had fresh brewed coffee from recently roasted beans you're missing the true essence of coffee imho. Everything else is a pale imitation.

In my defense, I have little choice. Shortly after being married my wife said to, “STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN.” You see, I made the mistake of trying to make some “suggestions” on how to do some of the cooking.
One of those mistakes was when I wondered why it was taking so long to get my coffee in the morning and went to see. Again, I made the mistake of “suggesting” that water should be boiled at a temperature higher than “simmer.” It was long ago, but that “little mistake” virtually sealed my fate in the kitchen... MMM, coffee! Is all that better come out of my mouth if I know what is good for me.
Admittedly, she has improved over the years and now she is even appreciative that I sometimes “suggest” she compares to a “Biblical cook.” Of course, if I were to add the part about “everything is either a bloody sacrifice or a burnt offering” that would not be so good.
I’ve tried. I bought a coffee maker, but she broke the pot. Bought a new pot, but she left the coffee maker on and burned it up, then said it is so much easier and safer to make instant. I put in a gas stove, bought a tea pot to speed things up… but she melted the plastic handle on it. But I put on the thinking cap and bought an all stainless steel tea pot with a steel handle…but the handle burnt her hand. So anyway, progress has been made…I can now boil my own water.
I find being married can sometimes take a lot of patience, but expect things will improve. It is my goal to get that perfect Proverbs 31 woman eventually, I have even asked her if she has ever read the saying out of the Bible on her, “Proverbs 32 Woman tee shirt” in hope my “suggestion” might lead to her looking for it. But that is another story…

I've just noticed that a lot of fellowship type threads are being started here lately and this is a debate forum. If it keeps going like this, I won't be coming much to the BB anymore. I like to come here more for the debates, at least on certain topics (I'm tired of the Calvinist/non-Calvinist ones).
I'm happy to yell at someone about coffee...probably because I haven't had any today...sort of on edge...

Dunkin Donuts is good, Tim Horton's is good, but I think the best comes from Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters in Watertown, Wisconsin. They make a flavor called Highlander Grog that is outstanding. You can find them on the web.

See, honest debate does do some good.
Oh, before I try this, is there any particular kinds I should try or stay away from. What do dispensationalist like? What do Calvinist like? Does the number of TULIP points make the coffee different? What about OSAS flavor. Is there several good flavors or is there only a ONE FLAVOR ONLY bunch I should beware of?:tongue3:

The direction the BB debate forums have been going lately is driving me away. Either there are threads like the coffee thread (which I think should be on the Forum for Polls or Other Christian Discussion in the Fellowship Forum) or the same silly topics come up over and over (like how long should women wear their skirts), or it's Calvinism vs. non-Calvinism or bashing Dispensationalists.
The other debates are in Politics, where the debates get too heated for me sometimes, or in Other Christian Denominations. But I get tired of debating the Church of Christ people and the SDAs.
We used to have some good topics. Maybe I've just been here too long.:sleeping_2:

Well, I have many times. I just did tonight, only to find out the same article was used in the Politics forum recently.
Sometimes I start a thread but not everyone seems as interested as I am in it. Also, threads tend to go off-topic quickly.
Maybe I'm just having a momentary "blah" moment with the BB. :tongue3:
