If a person really believes many folks won’t get to heaven if believers aren’t “soul winning”, why do they spend all their time on the BB attacking reformed theology?

Why not spend all that time and effort “soul winning”?

peace to you

Well us Sovereign Grace brethren leave them to their own and they can revel that they are adding to the pot but we know that the ONLY soul winner is Jesus Christ... If not please explain to me where ALL these people came from?... Brother Glen:)

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

And Van... He doesn't need any help

Because God has determined that we do so that we can show those of the calvinist view that they need to have a personal faith in Christ not one they think was given to them.

So the better question is how do you even know, calvinist/reformed/PB's, you are saved? Your faith could just be what Calvin called Evanescent faith. It could just be a case of self deception, or even worse, divine deception.

1 John 5:1, Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

1 John 3:23, And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

Are you claiming I don’t have a “personal faith in Christ?”

Are you claiming I am not saved?

It sure sounds like it.

Speak your mind plainly if you have the grit

peace to you

Deja Vu

"Are you imagining this passage as saying 'Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ will become born of God'? Because it DOES NOT say that. Those believing are already born of God:

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 1 Jn 5

36 He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. Jn 3

21 But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God. Jn 3

24 .....He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life,...Jn 5

47 .... He that believeth hath eternal life. Jn 6

Again, you've got it backwards."

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: Jn 20

So, what’s the point of posting these passages?

Wow.
Both passages teach the same.
1 John 3:23.
1 John 5:1.
I'll add, John 3:16 and John 13:34 as source references.
John 3:16 from John 3:3-7.

Now you're lying. That's what Calvinists'Reformed/PBs believe, and it's the very thing you and other ranting anti-Cals oppose.
You do not understand, my view. And I can't cause you to.
God does the saving and the keeping of those who do God's will, Matthew 7:21, . . . enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father . . . .
John 3:3.
1 John 5:9-12.

Why should it? God solely does the saving and keeping. See 1 John 5:9-10.

You forgot one and the birthing!... Brother Glen:)

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

No.
Ephesians 2:2-3, . . . Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Romans 5:8, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

You're still being evasive, tricky, and deceitful. Who are those that "do God's will"?
No, you are. Those who receive the gift of eternal life. Romans 6:23, . . . the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Titus 1:2, In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; . . .
1 John 5:9-12.

enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father . . . .
John 3:3.

Jn 3:3 OPPOSES/REFUTES your view. One must FIRST be born of God before one can even see the kingdom.

3 Jesus answered and said to him, `Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born from above, he is not able to see the reign of God;` Jn 3

Before John wrote, Jesus explained it, as in Mark 10:15, Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
Nicodemus' question still applies, . . . How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
It is the same answer.
1 John 5:1, Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.
