Perhaps these amazing miracles are still happening today without fanfare or publicity. Many wonders are being wrought in Africa, Islamic nations, South America.

The incredible miracles in the first century were in the context of amplified faith due to the recent ministry of Jesus who was healing entire towns and vast multitudes of sick, demon possessed, and disabled, never turning away anyone, never saying “if it be God’s will, be healed”.
Or it could be that God only works in those mentioned areas in more supernatural ways in order to get the Lord jesus and the Gospel confirmed and started off, and then he backs off as then will be norm of biblical preaching and teaching

There really is a difference between God healing people in answer to prayer and lining up cripples so that an Apostles shadow can fall across them and heal them.

Spiritual Gifts are given to the CHURCH for the BODY as the Holy Spirit chooses and the body has NEED.
Always would ask why oral Roberts medical center had same percentage of cancers and deaths as any other hospital area?

In today’s world of tech, is there any proof of Christians going around actually healing people?
Or are these charismatic stories that draw more monetary gifts from gullible people with means?

Matthew 24:24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Yes, there are miracles.

The problem with PROOF is that for 40 days even Jesus walking around post crucifixion was not sufficient proof ... so what could possibly convince a heart determined to not-believe today?

I know a small Pentecostal Church, where you and I would criticize their "gift of tongues" as not agreeing with scripture where either a man came back from the dead, or a Doctor, an ER Nurse, a Hospice Nurse and two EMTs all got it wrong when they pronounced him dead during the service.

Jesus did not back off. His teaching was very much confirmed during His ministry, but He kept healing people.

God does not use healing and miracles as temporary tools just to establish or confirm the gospel. He uses them to alleviate human suffering because God is love.

I do not lose my faith in healing if fake healers are scamming gullible people. This does not negate the scriptures.

I personally do not need proof that Christians are healing people. I base my faith on the promises of God.

I am dismayed by pastors who preach against divine healing because they do not have enough faith in it to minister it to suffering people.

2 Timothy 2:5

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

James 5

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
