From so-called closed theism to closed thread. How long will it take to close er' down?
The cat is out of the bag, not one Calvinist has stated what they actually believe, God predestines everything, the closed theism that turns God into a monster. It would be so easy for any Calvinist to post "Van, God does not predestine everything. He does not predestine our every sin. But, then the person would be "flirting" with open theism, and actually advocating "partially open theism."
All these unreferenced assertions of answering the question are simply smoke and mirrors, the so-called answer being basically ordained does not mean predestined. So God ordained and allowed. But the wiggle room, leaving "ordained" as meaning or not meaning predestined was not addressed, at least as I recall.

The question was answered. I don't believe you listened or wanted to accept the answer that was given. jbh have a fairly clear answer. The cat is out of the bag, not one Calvinist has stated what they actually believe, God predestines everything, the closed theism that turns God into a monster. Now you are adding other terminology (without definition) to confuse the issue even further. That is not fair. The words previously being discussed were "decree, foreknowledge, omniscience." With that jbh gave a differentiation between two aspects of decree, and we can safely say that God does not actively decree all things. But all things are foreknown to him according to his omniscience. He would not be God if he did not know all things. All these unreferenced assertions of answering the question are simply smoke and mirrors, the so-called answer being basically ordained does not mean predestined. The accusation is false and ridiculous.Behold, the Closed Theism of Calvinism that turns God into a Monster.
